Numbers Game

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Although Sam Grafton has the lead, it's not by nearly as much as it has been at the final table. At one point he had almost three times the nearest competitor's stack, but he's been reigned in.

With blinds now up to 40,000/80,000/10,000 and the average stack at 2.1 million chips, this feels like an important level to win for the remaining four players.

Li Gets a Value Call from Raza

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Ka Him Li just got some great value on the river from Shah Raza on a board of {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Li bet 200,000 on the river, and managed to get a call from Raza, who held {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Li turned over {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and his flopped set was way ahead.

Li seems to be battling Souki for chips with which to take on Sam Grafton, who still has the lead at the table.

Grafton Wins Back to Back

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

After dominating much of the final table, the popular professional has grabbed two more back-to-back hands to move further ahead.

First Grafton moved in the small blind, raising with {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} to push Ka Him Li off the pot pre-flop. Next he raised and went to a flop of {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} against the same player. Grafton's c-bet was call, but on the turn of {6-Spades}, Grafton bet again and this time it got a fold. He had {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and would have been hoping for more value, but Li held {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Philippe Souki Doubles Through Ka Him Li

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Philippe Souki and Ka Him Li got it all-in pre-flop and it was a classic coinflip.

Philippe Souki: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Ka Him Li: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The flop of {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{A-Hearts} saw Souki move ahead, and the turn {J-Clubs} sealed the deal before the {9-Hearts} river.

Cristian Mihu Eliminated in 5th Place (£12,640)

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Cristian Mihu
Cristian Mihu

Cristian Mihu is out after an entertaining tournament for the Romanian player was brought to an end by a deadly river card.

Pre-flop, Sam Grafton raised with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and he was called by Ka Him Li with {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Mihu with {6-Hearts}{4-Spades} .

The flop of {2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} gave Mihu a straight and Li the set, and after Grafton c-bet to 170,000. Li called but Mihu moved all-in over the top for 615,000 total and got a call from Li. The turn {J-Spades} didn't change anything, but the {5-Clubs} on the river did.
