Andrei Racolta and Georgios Tavoularis are the two early big stacks and the latter just scored a knockout over on table one in set over set fashion.

Tavoularis raised to 600 from under the gun and was called by Alexandru Cinca and Razvan Nicolae Sabau in the small blind. The flop of {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades} was checked to Cinca, who bet 900 and both called. On the {10-Diamonds} turn it was once again Cinca that bet 4,200 and Sabau as well as Tavoularis called.

Sabau then shoved the {2-Hearts} river and Tavoularis called, Cinca folded. Sabau showed {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a full house, but Tavoularis had the better full in {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}. "Nice hand man, but I did most of the work," Cinca joked.

The Ducks Work for Lungu

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the three-way turn of {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, Andrei Gabriel Roscan bet 1,100 and Radu Lungu called, while Adrian Petrus folded. The {10-Clubs} on the river brought a check by Roscan and he quickly called a bet of 3,000 by Lungu, who flipped over {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} for bottom set. Roscan mucked {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} with a dry smile on the face and could have likely lost even more chips.

Nedelea Among Early Big Stacks

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

There was plenty of banter going on in a bigger pot between Ionel Anton and Cosmin Nedelea and the duo ended up checking through an ace-high river with some 10,000 in the middle. Anton flashed {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a rivered straight and Nedelea mucked {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a flopped set of sevens much to the surprise of Anton.

More table chat broke out between the duo and Nedelea replied back "it's okay, I got enough chips for now." Indeed Nedelea has almost doubled his stack early on already.

Next to Anton sits Orestis Kanakopoulos, and Tudor Lazar has racked up most of his cashes in Spain thus far.

Gheorghe Builds Stack

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the three-way turn of {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Andrei Racolta checked out of the small blind and so did Stefan Aurelian Gheorghe in late position. Carmine Venditti on the button made it 3,500 to go and forced a fold from Racolta, while Gheorghe called. The {4-Clubs} on the river was checked by both players and Gheorghe tabled {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} as winning hand.

Gricorescu Chips Up

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Marius Ene limped in and Elena Grigorescu from one seat over raised to 400, which was called by Bogdan Croitoru and Ene. On a flop of {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds} the action checked to Grigorescu and her bet of 500 was called by Croitoru only. The latter check-called a bet of 500 on the [7s| turn and checked once more on the {A-Diamonds} river.

Grigorescu bet 1,500 and forced a fold, but decided to show her {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for two pair anyways.

Already Three Seat Open

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Leslie Kearney, Thilo Podann and Gabriel Penescu all ran out of chips despite starting the day with 300 big blinds. Whether or not they will re-enter remains to be seen.

Adrian Petrus almost ended up as fourth player with an all in showdown after he shoved into a bet of 2,500 by Adrian Corneliu Lazar on a flop of {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Petrus only had 10,250 left and there were 5,000 in the middle. Lazar, however, ended up folding and Petrus recovered some chips.

Diac Off to a Good Start

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Catalin Paul Diac, who won a WSOP Circuit ring at the King's Casino in Rozvadov in 2017, is among the dozens of hopefuls that took their seat right away after the first card was dealt and he just picked up a healthy pot. The board of {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{K-Clubs} was all but rushed away when Diac and his table neighbor Alexandru Cristian Cojocaru tabled their cards. The latter had {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades} for an ace-high bluff and Diac claimed the pot with {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a gutshot that improved to top pair on the river.
