Cimbolas Busts Hunter and Ward

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Matas Cimbolas
Matas Cimbolas

Ludovic Geilich and Christopher Yong had been eliminated and a three-way all in over on table one put Philip Ward and Ian Hunter at risk.

Ian Hunter: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Philip Ward: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Matas Cimbolas: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}

Hunter had reason to celebrate with the {8-Spades} in the window, but the {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} followed right away. Neither the {7-Hearts} turn nor the {3-Hearts} river brought a miracle and the entire pot was shipped to Cimbolas, the table broke right after.

Cojocaru Bests Mandara

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Ryan Mandara
Ryan Mandara

Ryan Mandara was at risk holding the {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Vadim Cojocaru held the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}. The {J-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop gave Mandara plenty of outs to remain in contention, however, the {3-Hearts} turn and {7-Hearts} river both bricked off.

Jacobson Eliminated by Pflock

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

Martin Jacobson was all in for what appeared to be 160,000 on the button and held the {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, Pascal Pflock in the big blind had him dominated with {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

The {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} left Jacobson drawing to running outs and he got a huge sweat with the {6-Hearts} turn, however, the {2-Spades} river was a blank.

Even More for Pflock

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Zhen Shao ended up second-best to Paul Hizer when his {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} faced the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of Hizer on a board of {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

Moments later, Terry Jordon was all in with the {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} against the {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} of Pascal Pflock after flopping kings and sevens on {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. However, the {8-Clubs} turn and {9-Clubs} river were both blanks.

Vinod Fernandez has also been eliminated and the field has been cut down to just 29 hopefuls.

Thomas Muehloecker doubled through Ajay Kejriwal and then sent Michael Mizrachi to the rail.

New chip leader is Chris Da-Silva, who bet the {J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} turn for 45,000 and his opponent shoved for 140,000. Da-Silva used two time banks and called with {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, Cojocaru only had {A-Diamonds}{10-} and the river was the blank {K-Spades}.

One table over, Pascal Pflock three-bet the button and called the shove of Florence Allera.

Florence Allera: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Pascal Pflock: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board came {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Allera was eliminated.

Pflock was barely done stacking his chips when he looked up the shove of Enzo Del Piero with {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}. Del Piero held the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and found no help on the {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} board.

Heidorn Doubles Loeser; Busts to Ringe

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Manig Loeser doubled through Robert Heidorn when he held up with {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} versus {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}. The board came {9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Heidorn was left with very few chips. Those then vanished right after when he found no help with {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} against the {A-Clubs}{6-Spades} of Gerald Ringe, the board of {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} kept ace-high in the lead.

Kejriwal Takes the Lead

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ajay Kejriwal was among the biggest stacks heading into the day and took over the lead after sending Cheng Rui Wong to the rail. The board and cards were all but rushed away and Kejriwal had flopped bottom pair, turned two pair and rivered a full house with the {3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}.

Jonathan Clark bet the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} river for 69,000 and Christopher Kyriacou called, but quickly mucked when he was shown {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for a full house by Clark.
