The board ran out 9♥K♥ and Soriano, who began the day as the shortest stack in the tournament, managed to climb all the way to a 22nd place finish.
There was already more than 300,000 in the middle as Admir Qinami and Abel Aspas saw the turn on a board of 2♠4♠10♦Q♠.
Qinami, in early position, bet 290,000 before Aspas moved all in from the cutoff. Qinami stood up and leaned over the table before calling for 1,380,000.
Aspas showed 10♠8♠ for a flush, but Qinami had the nut flush with A♠7♠. "Wow, slow roll," a tablemate said. The inconsequential river was the K♥ and Qinami doubled up to become a massive chip leader.
Alexandru Marcu raised to 40,000 from the hijack before Gusti Sas moved all in for around 200,000 on the button. Gregory Telman then reshoved for 320,000 in the big blind and Marcu called, having both opponents covered.
