Reynolds Falls to Harris; Chen Doubles Off Watson

Level 24 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Brandon Harris raised to 50,000 under the gun, then called when Scott Reynolds shoved from the cutoff for 200,000.

Scott Reynolds: KJ
Brandon Harris: AK

Reynolds was dominated heading to the 2894K board as Harris took the pot with his ace-kicker to send Reynolds to the rail.

At the same time at another table, Lin Chen was all in for 210,000 and up against Wendy Watson.

Lin Chen: Q10
Wendy Watson: 99

Chen hit a pair on the 3107, then improved to two pair on the Q turn. The river was the 8 and Chen doubled up.

The remaining 24 players are now drawing for seats at the final three tables.

Penescu Puts on His Jacket, Nails the River

Level 24 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Cosmin Penescu was all in for around 450,000 from the button and up against Min Ji in the cutoff.

Cosmin Penescu: JJ
Min Ji: KK

Penescu was crushed by Ji's kings and at risk of elimination as the flop came 104K, giving Ji top set. The Q fell on the turn and Penescu was already standing up from his seat with his jacket on preparing to make his exit.

The river, though, brought the 9 and Penescu made a straight to double up. "Yes," he yelled out, loudly clapping his hands together.

"He put the jacket on again," Teodor Evstratiev said.

Khuu Victim of a Brutal River

Level 24 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Chuc Khuu in the cutoff, button Cosmin Penescu, and Charles Chattha under the gun all got their chips in the middle preflop.

Chuc Khuu: J10
Cosmin Penescu: AK
Charles Chattha: AK

"Give it to me one time," Khuu pleaded, and he got his wish on the 7J4 flop. "Six of diamonds," he asked for.

"Why not a jack," a tablemate asked.

"That's more fun," Khuu replied as the 9 fell on the turn, also giving him a flush draw. The river, though, was a catastrophic A as Chattha and Penescu both paired their ace.

Khuu had around 275,000 remaining and was sent to the rail, punching the wall on his way out, while Chattha and Penescu split his chips.

At the same time at another table, Beihao Wang doubled up against Lin Chen for around 200,000 with AJ against 99 when Wang spiked the river on 4Q6KA.

Joe Newby moved all in for 245,000 under the gun, Brandon Harris reshoved on the button, and the rest of the table folded.

Joe Newby: 22
Brandon Harris: AQ

Newby's deuces were in front following the 5J7 flop, while the turn came the 10. The river was the K and Harris rivered the nut straight to send Newby to the rail.

"Unlucky, mate," he told Newby while raking in the chips.

Min Ji

Man Li raised to 40,000 under the gun before Mariusz Wiszowaty moved all in for 280,000 in the hijack. Min Ji called on the button, as did Li once action folded back to him.

The flop came 74K and a bet of 250,000 from Ji quickly forced Li from the pot.
