Haselton Takes It with River Bet

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jen Hanselton limped from the hijack, the player in the small blind did the same, and the big checked his option to see a {j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop.

All three players checked and the dealer burned and turned the {8-Diamonds}. The small blind bet 6,000, the big blind folded, and Hanselton called to see the {5-Hearts} river.

The small blind checked and folded to a bet of 12,000 from Hanselton.

Stewart Sends Kelly Out the Door

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Brian Kelly
Brian Kelly

A short-stacked Brian Kelly moved all in for his last 6,500 from the button and while he wasn't excited about it, Patrick Stewert made the call from the big blind.

Stewert: {7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Kelly: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Kelly got it in good and made two pair on the {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop.

Unfortunately for him, the {4-Clubs} turn gave Stewert a wheel. The {Q-Hearts} river failed to fill up Kelly and he had no recourse but to head to the rail.

Today's Ante Up Poker Tour Main Event in the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs is the culmination of a six-event series that's been taking place all week long.

On Wednesday, Event #4: $130 No-Limit Hold'em ($5,000 guaranteed) drew 41 entries, which meant there was an overlay to the $3,977 generated prize pool. Only the top six players got paid and they did so by working a deal.

As a result, Michael Petty was crowned champion and took home a smooth $1,000. The other five players each received $800.

Straight on Board

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

After the under-the-gun player limped and next to act did the same, Mehdi Belhassan raised to 7,000. The player in the hijack then jammed for 28,400, both limpers folded, and Belhassan, who had around 30,000 total, made the call.

Belhassan: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Hijack: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

The {2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop wasn't anything too special, but the {3-Hearts} turn was as the player in the hijack made a wheel. Fortunately for Belhassan, the river was the {6-Hearts} to give both players a six-high straight. Chop it up!

Torok Takes It on the Turn

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Brian Kelly raised to 3,500 from the hijack and the player in the cutoff called. Brian Torok came along from the big blind and it was three-way action to the {2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop.

The triumvirate checked and then Torok bet 4,600 on the {10-Hearts} turn. Both his opponents folded and Torok flashed the {K-Diamonds}.

Hartman Done and Dusted

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Kerry Hartman got his last 22,000 all in preflop and found himself in dire straits against Walter Schoderbock.

Schoderbock: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Hartman: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Hartman got a little help on the {10-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop but that was all he got as the {2-Spades} bricked the turn followed by the {4-Diamonds} on the river.

Adibi Puts Beat on Villanueva

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Matt Adibi
Matt Adibi

Matt Adibi limped from the hijack and the player on the button did the same. Kristopher Villanueva then raised to 10,000 from the small blind and Adibi called.

The button got out of the way and the flop came down {3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Villanueva checked and then snap-called when Adibi moved all in for 27,800.

Adibi: {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Villanueva: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Adibi had flopped top pair but was behind Villanueva's overpair. He wasn't behind for long though as the dealer burned and turned the {10-Hearts} to give him two pair. The {7-Spades} river made it a full house and an excited Adibi doubled through Villanueva.
