Wei Zheng Busted in 9th Place

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Wei Zheng is the first casualty of the unofficial final table of nine. He was the shortest stack of the event and he shoved his chips in the middle with nines, only to get called by Hao Tian's ace-king.

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{a-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Tian sent the event to the last eight finalists. One more bust-out and the event will be in the bubble of the payouts.

Huge Pot for Liu and Final Table Set

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Changyang Liu
Changyang Liu

Changyang Liu was the chipleader after Day 1 but with the pot he just won, he is a massive contender to win the High Roller as he currently has a big part of the chips in play.

Hao He is the unlucky player who busted in 10th place, and it was right after he sent Zhang Yang to the rail, earning him a very big stack.

In the crucial hand, Hao He raised from the hijack to 9,000 and Changyang Liu three-bet from the button to 33,000. Hao He popped it up to 84,000 and Liu called.

The flop came {10-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Hao He checked. Liu bet 34,000 and He called, with the turn bringing the {2-Spades}. Hao He checked again and Liu bet 65,000 this time, with Hao He announcing all in and Liu snap-calling.

Hao He: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Changyang Liu: {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Top set for He and a flush draw plus a gutshot for Liu with the {7-Diamonds} on the river bringing "wow's" from all the table! Hao He was disappointed to see his big stack turning to zero in such a huge pot.

The tournament officials will make a redraw and players will continue to the final table of the 2019 APPT Jeju High Roller.

Wang's Jam Fell on a Big Wall

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ye Wang
Ye Wang

Ye Wang is out of the High Roller when he tried to steal from the button by shoving all in with ace-three only to get called from Shawn Busse's ace-queen.

The kicker was good enough for Busse and sent his opponent to the rail.

Short Stacks Found Their Spots

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Two of the short stack players went all in during this level and they both doubled up.

At first, Ye Wang picked up aces and shoved from the big blind after Shawn Busse's raise, who called with a pair of deuces. The board didn't change anything for the big pair and Wang managed to reach 100,000 in chips until the end of the level.

In one of the last hands of this level, Vitaliy Kim doubled up too, being down in just 8 big blinds. He shoved from middle position with tens and Changyang Liu called from the big blind with {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. A ten on the flop secured the double up for Kim, who is up to 60,000.

Ian Cordts Ousted in 13th Place

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Ian Cordts
Ian Cordts

The chipleader is unbeatable so far, as Changyang Liu just won a flip and busted Ian Cordts. The Irish player put his last 65,000 in the middle holding {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and he got called by Liu's pair of tens.

The board ran out {j-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Spades} and Cordts departed from the field a couple of spots before the final table.
