Stang Raises the River

Action folded around to the blinds, where Bernie Stang opened to 3,600 in the small and Shengeng Ma defended in the big.

Stang checked the 5AQ flop, calling after Ma fired 2,500. Action repeated on the 8 turn, with Ma betting 6,000 and Stang check-calling.

Stang checked one last time on the 2 river, and Ma announced a bet of 23,000. Stang took some time before moving all in, sending Ma into the tank.

After a couple of minutes, Ma made the fold and Stang added a nice pot to his stack.

Bernie Stang and Shengeng Ma checked in the blinds before Basle continued for 3,000. An opponent in middle position mucked, as did Stand and Ma allowing Basle to claim the pot.
