Ilcaffas Wakes up with Aces at the Right Time

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Under the gun shoved for 6,100 and the player on his left called in early position. A couple of folds followed to put action onto Tammer Ilcaffas in the hijack, who re-jammed for 16,200. Action folded back to the early-position player, who confirmed Ilcaffas was all in and then tossed in calling chips.

Under the Gun: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Early Position: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Tammer Ilcaffas: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

A king-high runout of {8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} was not enough to put either player in front of Ilcaffas' aces and he scooped both pots to more than double, taking his stack to an even 40,000 in the process.

Burns Doubles with Ladies

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

All of the chips got into the middle preflop with the cutoff opening and calling a three-bet shove of 4,800 from David Burns, who was on the button.

David Burns: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Cutoff: {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{a-Spades}, leaving Burns out in front. However, he turned a set as the next card appeared {q-Clubs} to leave himself with four outs to sweat to a chop. The river {2-Hearts} fell clean and safe and he secured the dub as a result.

Raio Applies the Pressure

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Nick Raio
Nick Raio

Under the gun opened to 1,500 and was called by players in middle position and the hijack, putting action onto Nick Raio in the cutoff. Raio three-bet to 5,400 and only the hijack called.

With action heds up, the flop came {4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}. The hijack checked and proceeded to call Raio's continuation-bet of 3,400. The turn then came {q-Clubs} and the hijack checked again, prompting Raio to bet another 6,000.

The hijack thought for a bit, eventually looking over at Raio's remaining stack of around 19,000. A few moments later, he folded and Raio saw the pot sent his way.

Sikes Turns a Flush

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Derahn Sikes
Derahn Sikes

There was over 6,000 in the middle with four players seeing a flop of {4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and the big blind checked, putting action onto Derahn Sikes in the hijack. Sikes bet 2,000 and received calls behind from both Armando Figueroa in the cutoff and Andrew Brinkley, who was on the button. The big blind then folded.

Sikes checked the turn {3-Clubs} and Figueroa fired out a bet of 6,000. Brinkley quickly folded and Sikes called, bringing the river {a-Spades}. Sikes checked again and Figueroa threw out a bet of 9,500, which the dealer announced. Sikes immediately threw in two 5,000-chips to call.

Upon calling, Sikes tabled {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the turned flush, prompting Figueroa to shake his head for a moment before sending his cards to the muck.

Miles Wins on the River

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Timothy Miles opened to 900 in the hijack and received a call from the cutoff. Action went heads up to a flop of {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades} and both players checked.

The turn came {9-Spades} and Miles bet 2,000. His opponent called, bringing the river {9-Diamonds}. Miles grabbed more chips and tossed out a bet of 3,500 that toppled over itself as the chips hit the felt. No sooner did the chips fall flat on the felt did Miles' opponent fold to earn him the pot.

Turvin Wins at Showdown

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Rodney Turvin
Rodney Turvin

The dealer was in the process of collecting 1,000 apiece from four players and after doing so fanned a flop of {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Justin Zaki was first to act in the small blind and checked, as did the big blind and the under-the-gun Ryan Snow. Last to act, Rodney Turvin bet 2,000 in middle position and got a fold from Zaki with two calls thereafter.

All three remaining players checked the turn {7-Diamonds} and the river came {7-Clubs}. The big blind bet 4,000 and got a fold from Snow before Le put in chips to call.

The big blind turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for the missed gutshot to Broadway, shrugging as he did. Turvin tabled {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for kings up and took down the pot as a result.
