Harmon Over a Quarter-Million

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Wayne Harmon
Wayne Harmon

Wayne Harmon was just seen with a stack that has grown to 250,000. Not long ago, he was already over 120K and involved in a preflop raising war in which he put an opponent all in after the player had already committed over half of his stack. The player folded {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} face up.

"Do you want to see?" asked Harmon. The player responded that he did and Harmon sent {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} onto the middle of the table for all to see. The player tapped the table twice, congratulating Harmon on a nice hand. He has since chipped up a bit more and appears to be the chip leader with around two hours of play remaining in the evening.

Opponent: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The runout came {3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} to ensure the double for Teal by the turn and he now finds himself with 181,000 after the double.

Henry Lancaster
Henry Lancaster

A player raised to 4,000 under the gun and action folded around to Henry Lancaster, who shipped in his last 17,500 from the cutoff. Action folded back to the original raiser, who went into the tank for over half a minute before putting in chips to call.

Henry Lancaster: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}, giving Lancaster only chop outs to fade on the river as he secured the dub.

While PokerNews is offering live updates from this Main Event, there have been several other side events playing out this past week at the 2021 bestbet Jacksonville Spring Series.

After a fifth-place finish in the opening event series, Bryan Brozman took care of his unfinished business in Event #4: $260 No-Limit Hold'em, outlasting a field of 190 for the first-place prize of $9,906.

Brozman defeated Johnny Ear of Palm Coast, FL heads up, with Ecuador's Pablo Valdivieso taking third place in the event. A trio of River City residents in Steve Zhang, DJ Keenan, and Richard Lewis also made the final table and earned more than $1,250 for their showings.

The top three tables were paid out with 21st-24th place earning $375 and the next four finishers receiving $443. All who made the final two tables were then guaranteed $531, with payout jumps occurring every two places until Alexander Monroe's ninth-place elimination earned him $990 and brought about the final table of eight.

McNulty Toasted

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Thad McNulty
Thad McNulty

Thad McNulty open-jammed for a bit over 25,000 under the gun and saw Jarrett Hlavaty re-jam for slightly more on his direct left. All remaining players folded.

Thad McNulty: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}
Jarrett Hlavaty: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

McNulty's situation only got worse on the flop {4-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} despite hitting an ace. The turn {7-Spades} left him drawing dead and the river {8-Clubs} completed the runout, earning Hlavaty the pot as McNulty was eliminated from the tournament.
