Frank Funaro from under the gun and Thomas Cannuli from the cutoff were heads-up to the river with roughly 24,000 in the middle and the board reading 7♠7♥7♦J♥Q♦.
Funaro checked to Cannuli who announced a bet of 9,000, and Funaro elected to flick in the call after some deliberation.
Thomas Cannuli: A♠5♣
Frank Funaro: A♦2♦
Both players were playings trips with ace-queen, and the pot was chopped.
"I want to bluff so bad," Funaro said as Cannuli had roughly pot behind on the river.
"I swear to God I'm not folding," Cannuli replied.
The two continued to discuss various hand combinations they believed the other could have.
"You guys are on another level," tablemate Eric Yanovsky commented, "I can't even fathom."
