Mueller Bombs the Flop Against Beaman

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Terence Beaman limped in from the button as action went on Brandon Mueller in the small blind. He took a peek at Mark Aridgides stack in the big blind. "Not much of it left," Aridgides said while pretending to cover it up.

Mueller ended up raising to 120,000 and Aridgides folded, while Beaman reraised to 390,000. Mueller called, and they saw a flop of JQ6.

Mueller then bet 500,000, and Beaman quickly folded. Mueller showed AK9 as he took the pot.

"Let's chop. One-time offer," Aridgides joked.

Chang Closing in On Mueller

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Brandon Mueller limped on the button, Mark Aridgides completed from the small blind, and Danny Chang checked his option in the big blind.

On the 988 flop, it checked to Mueller who bet 55,000 and only Chang called.

Chang check-called another bet on the 2 turn for 180,000.

On the 10 river, Chang opted to lead for 115,000, and Mueller flicked in the call after some deliberation. Chang tabled KKJ9 for two pair, kings and eights, and Mueller could not beat it.

Danny Chang

Danny Chang limped in from under the gun and Mark Aridgides checked his option.

The flop came KK4 and Chang bet 35,000. Aridgides then raised to 165,000, and Chang called.

Aridgides bet another 200,000 on the Q turn, and Chang again called. The river was the A and Aridgides checked to Chang, who bet 280,000.

Aridgides went deep into the tank for several minutes. "This is the longest I've taken all tournament," he said.

"Take your time," Terence Beaman told him. Aridgides eventually called, and Chang showed AK76 for a full house to win the big pot.

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Mario Damiao
Mario Damiao

Brandon Mueller opened to 80,000 from the cutoff and was called by Mario Damiao on the button and Mark Aridgides in the small blind. In the big blind, Danny Chang squeezed to 275,000. Mueller folded, Damiao jammed for 490,000 total, Aridgides folded, and Chang called.

Mario Damiao: KQJ4 All in
Danny Chang: AAQ10

Damiao needed some help to stay alive as the AJ4 flop did not support his cause, giving Chang top set and a flush draw, while Damiao did have a broadway gutter. However, the 4 turn gave Chang top boat, leaving Damiao with just one out, which did not come on the 10 river and he was eliminated.

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Action was checked to the turn on a board of 48A7 in a four-way pot when Mario Damiao bet 60,000 from the button. Only Terence Beaman called under the gun.

The river was the 7 and Damiao bet 100,000. Beaman again called.

"Nines," Damiao said.

"I can beat nines," Beaman said, turning over JJ102 for a flush to win the pot.

"I've had enough. I'm going to the Big O," Damiao said as he potted to 105,000 the next hand, but he received no callers.

Brandon Mueller: Q987

Mueller had top two with a wrap and a dominated flush draw, while Chabi had top pair with overs and a better diamond draw.

The 6 turn changed nothing before the 2 landed on the river, leaving Mueller's top two pair best to eliminate Chabi in sixth.

Joseph Arena
Joseph Arena

In a four-way limped pot, action checked to the turn on a board of 8JJ10. Mark Aridgides then bet 75,000 from the big blind, and Joseph Arena moved all in for 325,000 in the hijack.

"So stupid," Aridgides said after action folded back to him, and he shook his head and begrudingly tossed in a chip to signify a call.

Joseph Arena: K10109 All in
Mark Aridgides: KJ84

Both players showed a full house, but Aridgides was ahead with jacks full. The river was the 8, and Arena was sent to the rail in seventh place.
