Mark Aridgides potted to 35,000 from middle position and was called by Philip Black on the button and Elan Chabi from the small blind.

On the A♦7♣6♦ flop, Aridgides continued for 40,000, Black potted to 245,000, and Chabi jammed for 375,000. Aridgides got out of the way before Black called off his shorter stack for just a couple more chips.

Black held top two pair against the flush draw of Chabi. The 6♥ turn was safe, but the 3♦ landed on the river, giving Chabi the flush to eliminate Black.

Shortly before the hand, James Carroll was eliminated in 16th.

Elan Chabi bet 25,000 from middle position on a flop of A♠4♣8♠ and Graig Churchill called in the cutoff, as did Mark Aridgides on the button.

The turn was the A♣ and action checked to Aridgides, who bet 110,000. Chabi called, while Churchill then moved all in for 135,000. Both opponents called.

The 6♣ river was checked down, and Churchill showed A♥J♥6♦4♠ for a full house. Aridgides flashed 8♣8♦ as he mucked, while Chadi said he had ace-king as he also sent his cards back to the dealer.

At another table, Danny Chang had limped in before Thomas Balla raised to 45,000 in the cutoff. James Hundt three-bet to 160,000 on the button and Chang called, while Balla also called all in.

Chang bet 40,000 on the 7♦6♦3♦ flop, and Hundt folded.

Chang was on a straight draw against Balla's queens, but he missed the K♠ turn and 6♠ river as Balla tripled up.

Brian Cole raised to 27,000 in the hijack and Jonas Wexler three-bet to 115,000 in the small blind. Wexler held up his last 30,000 chips as he waited for Cole to act, and Cole eventually called.

Wexler then put in his last chips on the K♠10♠2♠ flop, and Cole snap-called.

Wexler showed two aces, but Cole had flopped a flush. The rest of the board ran out 5♥8♣, and Wexler was sent to the rail.

Blake Vogdes opened to 21,000 under the gun and Marc Geissel called on the button. In the big blind, Brandon Mueller potted to 88,000, and both opponents called.

On the Q♠10♦8♠ flop, Mueller led for pot of 276,000, Vodges raised all in for 289,000, and Geissel called all in for 229,000, much to the dismay of Mueller, holding "dogwater aces".

Vodges had a pair with the nut flush draw, Giessel had an open-ender with a worse flush draw, but Mueller was still in the lead with aces.

The 7♣ turn improved Vodges to two pair, but the 8♦ river counterfeited him, leaving Mueller's aces best to scoop a massive pot and eliminate two players.

The flop came Q♣2♣4♠ and Arzoumanidis continued for 20,000. Chang called, and the J♣ fell on the turn.

Arzoumanidis checked over to Chang, who bet 45,000. Arzoumanidis called, and the K♠ fell on the river. Chang then bet 40,000, and Arzoumanidis folded this time.
