The players in Day 1d of the Main Event are now on their first 15-minute break of the day and will return to battle shortly.
Joshua Thibodaux opened to 1,100 from the hijack and was three-bet to 3,600 by James Galloway in the cutoff, but then Tao Zhang on the button put in the cold four-bet to 7,800.
Thibodaux quickly got out of the way and Galloway called to see a flop of 10♥10♦Q♠.
Galloway then check-called a continuation bet of 4,500 from Zhang to see the Q♥ on the turn. Both players decided to check and they went to the K♣ on the river, which saw the action go check-check again.
Galloway flipped over A♦K♥ for kings and queens and Zhang quickly mucked to award him the pot.
With around 7,000 in the middle, the action on the flop 8♠8♦10♠ checked around to Tuan Nguyen who bet 2,300 and was called by James Pallitto.
On the turn K♥, Pallitto checked, Nguyen bet 6,000, and then Pallitto check-raised to 15,000.
Nguyen then went into the tank for a good 45 seconds before he decided to let it go and the pot was awarded to Pallitto.

On a three-way flop of 9♥J♣Q♣, there was around 3,800 in the middle when Justin Brassieur bet 2,000 after a check from Jeffrey Nowling. Peter Lockwood made the call while Nowling got out of the way and the two saw the turn J♥.
Brassieur fired again for 5,200 but this time met no resistance as Lockwood promptly tossed in his cards.
Curtis Ross moved all in preflop for his last 4,000 and was called by Christina Sharkady and Shawn Wilcox.
On the flop 2♠5♠9♣, Sharkady checked, Wilcox bet 6,000, and Sharkady folded to make it heads-up.
Curtis Ross: 9♦10♣
Shawn Wilcox: 6♥6♣
Wilcox was ahead with his pair of sixes, but the runout of 4♦10♣ gave Ross a pair of tens on the river to save him from elimination and he was awarded the pot for the triple-up.
