Jordi Mataix and Antonio Perez were heads-up on a board of 2♦J♥8♥Q♦ when Perez, on the button, bet 50,000.
Mataix then raised to 110,000 from early position. Perez took off his glasses and buried his face in his hands as he tanked for several minutes.
He eventually folded and Mataix showed him Q♠Q♥ as he took in the pot.
Three-handed on a flop of 5♦3♦10♦, Fernando Santa Maria bet 10,000 from the hijack and Jose Maria Montiel called on the button. David Ballestero tanked for a moment before folding his big blind.
The turn came the K♣ and Santa Maria fired out another 25,000. Montiel quickly called to the J♦ river, where both players checked.
Santa Maria showed K♠9♣ for a turned pair of kings, while Montiel flashed Q♣10♣ before mucking.
Heads-up on a flop of 10♠A♠5♥, Vladyslav Ostapenko bet 15,000 from middle position and Jose Rodriguez called in the hijack.
The turn came the K♠ and Ostapenko fired out another 15,000. Rodriguez then came back with a raise to 30,000 and Ostapenko stuck around to see the 2♥ river.
He checked over to Rodriguez, who this time checked back and took the pot with A♥8♠.
Francesc Parramon couldn't recover from losing the big pot to Diogo Ferreira and was eliminated a few hands later, bringing the field three spots from the money.

Diogo Ferreira and Francesco Parramon went to the river on a board of 10♦K♥6♦K♦Q♠ where Ferreira, in the big blind, moved all in for his last 100,000.
Parramon was in the cutoff and tanked for several minutes before he slid in the chips to call. Ferreira then turned over A♠J♥ for the rivered straight and Parramon flashed K♠J♦ for trip kings as he handed over most of his chips.
Leo Petit was down to around 40,000 and pushed all in from the hijack. Jose Maria Montiel called on the button to put him at risk.

The board ran out 8♣Q♦7♣6♦J♠ and Montiel's ace-high stayed in front to earn him the pot and knockout.
Jose Rodriguez bet 12,000 from the button on a flop of 7♣7♦A♠ and Jordi Mataix called in middle position.
The turn came the Q♠ and Rodriguez bet another 35,000. Mataix again called to see the K♣ river, where he pushed all in for 60,000.
Rodriguez tanked for nearly a minute before he called. Mataix then turned over K♦Q♥ and got up from his seat prepared to make his exit, but then found he was ahead as Rodriguez could only show K♠J♣ giving Mataix a double up.
"Pani" and Sergio Denaro were heads-up in a blind versus blind battle and the board showing 2♥A♥8♠10♦8♣ when "Pani" bet 50,000 from the big blind.
Denaro tanked for a moment before calling as "Pani" showed A♠A♦ for top set to win the pot.
At another table, Julian Diaz Ubeda was just saw his day come to an early end after he was hovering around the chip lead for much of the night.
Heads-up on a J♥A♥6♣ flop, David Carballas bet 20,000 from the cutoff and Leo Petit called under the gun.
Both players checked the 4♣ turn as the 3♦ fell on the river. Petit then moved all in, having Carballas' last 85,000 covered.
Carballas tanked for several minutes before he committed his last chips. Petit showed K♥Q♥ for a missed flush draw and Carballas slammed down 9♥9♣ to win the pot and double up.
