Dumartin Hits the River, But Too Late as Peters Doubles

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jean Dumartin three-bet to 9,000 from the big blind and Alexander Ivanov called in the hijack. Nicky Peters, on the button, then moved all in for 23,500.

Dumartin reshoved for 35,200 and Ivanov got out of the way.

Nicky Peters: QQ
Jean Dumartin: 1010

Peters had Dumartin crushed as the Q54 flop gave him top set. Dumartin also hit a set as the board ran out J10, but it wasn't enough as Peters doubled up.

Carlos Esquerdo and Jaskirat Singh Bindra were recently moved to this table with stacks of more than 120,000. "Big stacks everywhere," Esquerdo said.

"Yeah," Dumartin joked as his own stack took a big hit.
