Dupland Snags 100k Pot from Krijn

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

In one fell swoop, Kevin Dupland has jumped to one of the top spots of the leaderboard. On a {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, it was Krijn who shoved all in after a raising war and Dupland who called it off for 50,400 total, creating a pot of over 100k.

Kevin Dupland: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Tonny Krijn: {A-Spades}{2-Spades}

The {9-Clubs} turn and {9-Diamonds} river gave Dupland a boat and the winner, leaving Krijn with just 12,000 in the process.

Pitzanti Out of Chips

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Sebastian Tusal raised to 1,000 in middle position, Tamon Nakamura three-bet to 3,000 and William Blais called from the cutoff. Sandro Pitzanti four-bet shoved 12,100 on the button, Tusal folded, Nakamura called and Blais folded.

Sandro Pitzanti: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Tamon Nakamura: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

It was over for Pitzanti after the turn as the board ran out {3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{3-Spades}. He's got up to three shots left, one for each starting day, if he chooses to reenter the EPT National.

EPT Winner Pauli Joins

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

The National has seen an EPT Main Event champion enter the field in the recent levels in the form of German professional player Sebastian Pauli.

Pauli took down EPT London back in 2014, for $803,182 after he came through a 675 player field.

The German has not had the best of starts today however as he is currently sitting with just 9,000 from his 30,000 starting stack.

Lipovka Loses at Showdown

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Vadim Lipovka raised to 800 from middle position and saw the player in the small blind three-bet to 2,400. Lipovka made the call, and he faced a 1,500 bet after the flop had fallen {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Lipovka called, and the turn came down the {3-Spades}.

The small blind player bet 2,000 and Lipovka raised to 4,200, which was called. Both players checked on the {9-Diamonds}, and at showdown, Lipovka mucked after his opponent had revealed {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} for top pair.

Berende Loses With Quads on Board

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Paul Berende was out of position on a {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} board and check-called a bet from Valdemar Kwaysser of 1,300. On the river, the {8-Diamonds} appeared to put all the eights out there. Berende faced a 1,600 bet and reluctantly paid it off with {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

Kwaysser had the nut kicker with {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and scooped up the pot. Both players have amassed more than twice the stack in the early stages and sit at 70,000.
