Kotsiris Takes One to Tran

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Peter Kotsiris raised to 500 and only Tu Tran called in the big blind.

The flop showed {3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and both Tran and Kotsiris checked.

The turn brought the {q-Spades} and Tran check-called a bet of 1,000 from Kotsiris to see a {q-Hearts} pair the board on the river. Both players checked once more and Tran sent {a-}{9-} into the muck after Kotsiris tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante
Felix Van Beuningen
Felix Van Beuningen

Felix Van Beuningen qualified for the €5,300 EPT Main Event through a promotion where he won his seat for just €0,55. He took his seat right at the start of the third level and he is off to a great start.

The board read {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Denise Pratt checked from the hijack. Van Beuningen checked behind from the cutoff to see the {5-Diamonds} river card complete the board. Pratt checked again to the German qualifier and he bet 2,500. Pratt didn't hesitate and called right away but she mucked when Van Beuningen showed {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.

Timur Margolin opened the action from the hijack with a raise to 600 before Michel Molenaar three-bet from the small blind to 2,600. The big blind got out of the way and the action was back on Margolin. He four-bet to 6,500 and Molenaar folded after he peeked at his cards again.

Molenaar finished in 15th place in the €2,200 EPT National High Roller for €23,450 and is now back at the poker tables to try and improve on that score.
