Bari Beats a Full House

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Alberto Bari limped in from mid-position, Eros Calderone completed his small blind, and Paul Newey opted to check in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and both Calderone and Newey checked. Bari continued with a bet of 5,000 which Calderone raised to 12,000. Newey quickly folded and Bari called.

The turn brought them the {a-Clubs}, Calderone check-called the 15,000 bet of Bari.

The river completed the board with the {5-Clubs}. Calderone checked for the last time. Bari bet 30,000 without hesitating. Calderone tanked, cut out calling chips, and then decided to fold.

Bari showed the {4-Diamonds}. Calderone asked to see the other card but it went into the muck already.

"If you have a full house, you would have lost," Bari said trying to imply he had a straight flush.

"At Least You Tried"

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Deividas Daubaris has been chatting along at all of his tables and now raised to 6,500 from the hijack. Chin Wei Lim three-bet to 17,500 from the cutoff and action folded back to Daubaris who jumped into the tank.

After confirming with Lim how much he had behind (81,500), Daubaris tanked a bit longer. After a while, Daubaris shoved with the bigger stack and Lim snap-folded.

"At least you tried..." Daubaris commented with a smile while raking in the pot.
