Colillas and Zaskodny Clash

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante
Ramón Colillas
Ramón Colillas

With around 7,000 in the pot and {3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{q-Spades} on the board, Lukas Zaskodny bet 3,500 and Ramon Colillas raised to 10,000. Zaskodny called and the river was {k-Spades}.

Zaskodny checked and Colillas bet 12,000.

"Most terrible river," Zaskodny said as he shook his head. After a few moments of consideration, he folded his hand and Colillas took the pot.

Song Gets a Shove Through; Flesner Chipping Up

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Daewoong Song raised to 1,400 from the button and the small blind folded. Emanuel Flesner three-bet to 3,800 from the big blind and Song leaned forward to think about it.

After a few moments, Song four-bet shoved for 34,300. Flesner thought it over and tossed his cards in the muck to give Song the pot.

Despite the brief setback, Flesner is chipping up this afternoon and now sits among the top stacks in the room.

Horn Gets it in Horribly, Triples Up Anyway

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Daniel Horn got his last 6,000 into the middle but faced a pair of all-in bets over top behind him.

Daniel Horn: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Middle Position Opponent: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Krzysztof Najborowski: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Horn would need Broadway or whole lot of jacks to survive the hand, and that's exactly what he got as the dealer spread {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

Najborowski was the beneficiary of a side pot with the middle position player who was eliminated, while Horn tripled up to 18,000.

Gauyacq Sends Aissaoui Packing

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

With 6,000 in the main pot and {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{j-Hearts} on the board, Mohamed Aissaoui was all in with two callers. Gilles Gauyacq bet 2,500 and Haoyuan Yan called to build a small side pot.

The turn was {6-Hearts} and both players checked to see {q-Hearts} on the river.

Gauyacq fired a 5,000 bet and Yan folded. Aissaoui turned over {8-}{8-}, but it wasn't good enough to beat Guayacq's {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, and he was out of the tournament.

Shem Scoops Huge Three-Way All-in Pot

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Tov Shem
Tov Shem

PokerNews arrived to table 37 as the clock had been called on a flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Stefan Fabian had moved all-in for approximately 25,000 over Tov Shem and Angelo Castriotta.

Shem then moved all-in for 44,300, and Castriotta moved in for slightly more.

Stefan Fabian: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Tov Shem: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Angelo Castriotta: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Fabian was likely to be out the door, as his overpair was no match for Castriotta's flopped straight. However, it would be Shem's nut flush coming in after the dealer spread the {6-Hearts} on the turn, then the {8-Diamonds} on the river to award Shem the massive pot.

Fabian was indeed eliminated, while Castriotta was left with under ten big blinds.

Jachimavicius Busts Strycharczyk

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

With around 12,000 in the pot and {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} on the board, Michal Strycharczyk bet 10,000 and Justinas Jachimavicius shoved with more. Strycharczyk called quickly and turned over {q-}{10-} for queens and tens, but Jachimavicius showed {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the straight to take the pot and send Strycharczyk to the rail.
