Reichenstein Takes a Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With roughly 4,000 in the pot on a flop of {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, Tomas Brokl checked in middle position, and Uri Reichenstein bet 1,100 in the cutoff. Brokl called.

The {6-Diamonds} landed on the turn, and Brokl check-called for 4,200. The {3-Diamonds} completed the board, Brokl again checked, and Reichenstein bet 8,800. Brokl looked at his cards again and deliberated for over a minute before ultimately putting in the calling chips.

Reichenstein showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and collected the pot as Brokl mucked.

Two Pair for Nagygyorgy

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Robert Ashelm raised to 500 from the button and Florens Feenstra called from the small blind along with Tibor Nagygyorgy in the big blind.

On a flop of {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, action was checked to Ashelm who bet 1,000. Feenstra folded but Nagygyorgy called.

The turn came the {8-Diamonds} and was checked around to the {j-Spades} river. Nagyorgy checked again but Ashelm threw in a a bet of 3,000 that Nagyorgy snap-called. Ashelm turned over {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for kings but that wasn't good enough as Nagygyorgy revealed {j-Clubs}{9-Spades} to win the pot with jacks and nines.

Brandstrom put out a bet of 3,500, which after some deliberation, Dimitrov called.

Brandstrom showed {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for trip tens, and Dimitrov mucked his hand.

Volodymir Savchenko opened to 300 from the cutoff and Manig Loeser called from the button along with Gijsbertina Van De Steeg in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} and was checked to Savchenko who bet 500. Loeser was the only caller.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Savchenko continued with a bet of 1,000 that Loeser called again.

The {k-Hearts} completed the board and Savchenko fired another bet of 2,000 that Loeser called once more. Savchenko turned {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for trip kings and Loeser sent his hand to the muck.

Bedir's Aces Oust Fonseca

As recounted by Selahaddin Bedir, Bedir opened to 300 from middle position and Luis Fonseca three-bet to 1,600 on the button. Action folded back to Bedir who called.

The flop fell {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Bedir checked. Fonseca bet 1,000, Bedir check-raised to 3,600, and Fonseca called.

The {5-Hearts} landed on the turn, Bedir bet 7,500, and Fonseca called.

The {10-Clubs} completed the board and Bedir jammed to put Fonseca to the test for his remaining stack of approximately 14,000. Fonseca tanked for a couple of minutes and ultimately put in the chips.

Bedir tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}, while Fonseca showed {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} for an inferior pocket pair, and he was sent to the rail early in the day while Bedir soared to the top of the early leaderboard.

Guzzardi Gets One

Picking action up in a three-way pot on a flop of {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, Volodymir Savchenko led out for 800 from the small blind and was called by Manig Loeser in the big blind before Maurizio Guzzardi raised to 2,800.

Only Savchenko called to see the {2-Spades} turn. He checked to Guzzardi who bet 2,500, which Savchenko called.

On the {q-Hearts} river, Savchenko checked again and faced another bet from Guzzardi, this time for 3,000.

Savchenko pondered briefly then folded to send the pot to Guzzardi, who showed the {7-Hearts} for at least trip sevens before dragging the pot.

Rauhut Wins One

Naoufel Bennani opened to 300 from mid-position and Thomas Rauhut bumped it up to 900 from the button. Action folded back to Bennani who stuck around with a call.

On a flop of {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Bennani check-called a bet of 1,300 from Rauhut.

The turn came the {8-Hearts} and was checked around to the {q-Spades} river. Both players checked again and Rauhut turned over {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} to win the pot with queens and nines.
