Dorneles Takes Two from Chisu

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action was caught on turn, with around 120,000 in the pot on the {2-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades} board.

Danut Chisu bet 93,000 from under the gun and was called by Luis Dorneles from the cutoff. The {j-Clubs} river checked through to showdown. Chisu could only show seven-high with his {7-Spades}{6-Spades}, while Dorneles had the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for the winner.

"Strong, hero," commented Chisu.

The next hand, Dorneles opened to 25,000 from the hijack and Chisu called from the big blind.

Chisu check-called for 15,000 on the {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop before check-folding after his opponent bet 55,000 on the {6-Diamonds} turn.

Three Streets from Proudfoot

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jonathan Proudfoot raised it up in early position and was called by Enrico Camosci in the cutoff. They went heads-up to a flop of {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Proudfoot started with a check. Camosci tossed in a bet of 35,000 and Proudfoot min-raised to 70,000 which Camosci called.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and Proudfoot made a small bet of 28,000. Camosci just called and the {j-Diamonds} completed the board. Proudfoot announced all in for 122,000 and Camosci asked for a count before deliberating for a minute and then folding.

Chisu Chases Bounty

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Conor Bergin opened from the cutoff to 25,000. In response, Danut Chisu went all in for 257,000 chips. Big blind Thomas Santerne was short-stacked and called Chisu's bet for his last 72,000 chips.

Bergin covered both players and pondered for a while whether he would take this opportunity to gather two bounties, but in the end, decided to let his hand go.

Thomas Santerne: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Danut Chisu: {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Santerne was in the lead, but that changed on the flop {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. The turn {4-Clubs} brought chop outs, however, the river brought Chisu a third king with {k-Spades} and sealed Santerne's fate.

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jimmy Kebe: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Tobias Schwecht: {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Kebe hit the flop best, making two pair as the dealer fanned the {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. The {2-Diamonds} turn was a brick but Schwecht completed his straight draw on the {9-Hearts} river to eliminate Kebe.

Friendly River Gives Cortes Another Bounty

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action folded around to Gerard Cortes in the small blind who shipped all in. Walid Bou Habib was in the big blind and called off his last 145,000 chips.

Walid Bou Habib: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Gerard Cortes: {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Habib was in a dominating position and the flop of {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} put him even further ahead with a flush draw as well. The {2-Diamonds} bricked the turn but the {9-Hearts} on the river gave Cortes a straight to claim another bounty.
