Accused Private Poker Game Cheater: "I Didn't Bring Any Cards Anywhere"

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

One day after being accused of cheating a California home game out of millions, Tony Mars issued a statement to PokerNews denying the allegations.
Wesley Fei and Nikhil "Nik Airball" Arcot, both Hustler Casino Live regulars, claim that Mars, who also plays on HCL, brought a special UV-marked deck that allowed him to decipher face-down cards.
The alleged scandal occurred in a game at a private residence in Yorba Linda, California, a community in Orange County.

Junker Jams the River

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Eleftherios Papangelis raised to 2,000 from early position, finding Henrik Junker in the big blind, who called.

Junker check-called a bet of 2,200 from Papangelis on the Q76 flop.

The K turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Papangelis sized up to 4,000.

The river landed the 4 and Junker elected to play out of flow, moving all in for approximately 10,000. Papangelis chose to fold.

Mozaffarian Doubles With Set

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was on the river on a board of 34KJ8. Amir Mozaffarian pushed all in for 18,300 and Liviu-Alexandru Nedelea flicked in a chip to make the call.

Nedelea showed K6 for a pair of kings. Mozaffarian had 44 for a set of fours to win the pot and double his stack.

Berggren Makes River Shove

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Herbert Kern raised to 1,200, Andreas Berggren called, then Filip Dolezal reraised to 3,800 from late position. Both Kern and Berggren called.

The flop came A37. Action checked to Dolezal, who made it 3,500 to go. Kern folded and Berggren called. The turn was the 2 and both players checked.

The river came the 9. Berggren shoved all in for around 15,000 and Dolezal made the fold to concede the pot.

Persson Finds a Double On the River

Enguerran Freslon opened to 2,000, from under the gun, Kalle Persson moved all in from middle position and Freslon made a quick call.

The board ran out 382QK. A rivered king ensured Persson pulled ahead, winning him this pot and saving his tournament life.

The cutoff raised to 1,200, Paulos Xanthopoulos called on the button and Reouven Attias moved all in for 8,000 from the small blind. The original raiser folded and Xanthopoulos called.

The board ran out 49246. Attias' flopped set was upgraded to quads on the turn and he doubled up.

Di Persio Cracks Pitic's Kings

Marco Di Persio raised to 1,200 from late position, Baurzhan Akimov three-bet to 3,500 from the button, then Radu Pitic four bet to 13,000 from the big blind. Di Persio moved all in for 27,000, Akimov folded and Pitic made the call. The two players flipped their cards, with Di Persio at risk.

The board ran out 103JA6. Di Persio made a set of jacks on the flop and held to crack Pitic's kings and win the pot. He doubled up his stack and Pitic was left with around 12,000 behind.

Sommer Comes Out on Top

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Niv Yakov Ben Avi opened to 1,500 from under the gun, receiving calls from Reuven Attias in the hijack, Robin Sommer on the button and Dore Hajjar in the big blind.

Once checked to, Avi continued for 2,600 on the 10A6 flop. Attias called and Sommer raised to 8,000. Hajjar, Avi and Attias all folded.
