Kolarik Takes Out Guler, Wagner Lays Down the Winner

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Adam Wagner raised to 13,000 in early position before Suhan Guler moved all in for 118,000 in the small blind. Tomas Kolarik in the big blind used a time bank before calling.

Wagner buried his face in his hands as he went into the tank, using two time banks before folding JJ face up.

Suhan Guler: A10
Tomas Kolarik: AQ

Guler was dominated by Kolarik's superior ace and found no help on the 755K9 board as he was sent to the rail.

Eljach Gets Revenge, Then Doubles Zoufri

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Omar Eljach
Omar Eljach

Omar Eljach eliminated Jacob Amsellem right before the break to climb above 1,000,000, exacting a bit of revenge after Amsellem had eliminated him from the WSOP Europe Main Event last month.

Shortly after coming back from break, Vincent Meli raised to 12,000 in early position and Abdelhakim Zoufri called in the small blind. Eljach then moved all in and Meli folded, but Zoufri called for 70,000.

Abdelhakim Zoufri: 99
Omar Eljach: K7

The board ran out J32310 and Zoufri's nines stayed in the lead to earn him a double up.

"He has a lot of chips. He can do anything," a tablemate said.

"It's nothing personal. This one was personal," Eljach said, pointing at Amsellem's empty seat.

EPT 2024

PokerStars has unveiled the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which shows five destinations, including a return to EPT Paris and EPT Cyprus. Both Paris and Cyprus made their EPT debut in 2023, and they return for 2024, much to the delight of the players.

EPT Paris is the first stop of the 2024 European Poker Tour season. It takes place between February 14-25 at a new venue. The stunning Le Palais des Congres has a 120-table capacity, meaning there will be a more extensive schedule for the festival. Cedric Billot, Associate Director for Live Events and Operations, believes the new-look EPT Paris could be one of the largest EPT festivals on record.

Rivered Set Earns Garcia Double KO

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Cesar Garcia Dominguez
Cesar Garcia Dominguez

An incredible hand unfolded just before the first break of Day 3.

It was all in three ways preflop, involving Cesar Garcia from the small blind, Andy Graf from the hijack and Joao Mestre from the cutoff, with the Spaniard covering both.

Andy Graf: KQ
Joao Mestre: AK
Cesar Garcia: 1010

The flop of 24A put Dominguez in third place in the hand.

A 9 turn came, and Mestre looked set to earn a triple-up.

But a 10 on the river gave Garcia a set and sent Mestre and Graf to the rail.

Max Neugebauer

Aram Sargsyan was all in for 110,000 from middle position and up against Max Neugebauer in the big blind.

Aram Sargsyan: AQ
Max Neugebauer: KK

Sargsyan was looking for an ace to stay alive, but none arrived on the 87339 board as Neugebauer's kings stayed in front. Sargsyan departed the table so quickly he forgot his bag on the back of his seat and a tournament official had to track him down before he left the room.
