Sebastian Malec raised to 100,000 on the button and Shankui Li shoved for roughly 1,500,000 from the small blind. Malec snap-called.
Shankui Li: A♣K♠
Sebastian Malec: K♣K♥
Li had run into the kings of Malec and had to find an ace to stay alive. The board ran out clean for Malec as it came 8♥7♦8♣10♥J♠, and Li was sent to the cashier's desk in twelfth place.
Juan Pardo min-raised from under the gun playing six-handed, and Jelle Moene called from the big blind.
They went to a flop of A♠2♥4♣ where Moene check-called a bet of 55,000 from Pardo, then they both checked the 2♠ turn.
A 7♣ dropped on the river and after Moene checked, Pardo fired 225,000. Moene then put in the check-raise to 675,000, which forced Pardo to use some extra time. Eventually, Pardo called.
Moene showed trips with 5♣2♣, and Pardo quickly mucked.
Shankui Li opened to 80,000 from under the gun and Mehdi Chaoui shoved for 380,000 from the small blind. Sebastien Compte then reshoved from the big blind for 360,000. Li got confirmation of the stacks then made the call, which put two players at risk.
Sebastien Compte: A♥Q♥
Mehdi Chaoui: A♠J♣
Shankui Li: 6♥6♣
Li had a good opportunity to eliminate two players in one swoop, and his pocket sixes kept their lead on the 8♦10♣K♠ flop, which also meant Compte & Chaoui swapped outs. The 9♥ turn added a few more outs for Chaoui, as any seven would give him a straight, but the 8♠ river meant Li's sixes held, which sent Compte and Chaoui to the payout desk.
As Chaoui had 20,000 more chips than Compte, he takes the higher place and the $10,700 pay jump!
Jelle Moene raised to 80,000 under the gun and Omar Del Pino three-bet to 200,000 from the hijack. Niklas Astedt four-bet from the button to 375,000 which prompted Moene to fold, but Del Pino five-bet jammed for roughly 900,000. Astedt snap-called.
Omar Del Pino: A♥Q♦
Niklas Astedt : A♦K♥
Del Pino had run into Astedt's Big Slick and needed to find a queen. However, the board ran out 2♥7♦4♣9♠J♠, and Astedt had eliminated Del Pino.
Maximilian Lehmanski shoved from early position for 250,000, and Lev Margolin called out of the big blind.
Maximilian Lehmanski: A♠3♦
Lev Margolin: K♥Q♣
Lehmanski was marginally ahead and did pair his three on the 4♠9♦3♣ flop, but fell behind as the Q♥ turn paired Margolin. No help arrived on the 4♦ river, and Lehmanski was sent to the rail.
