Miranda Takes from Petakovic

Milos Petakovic opened 2,400 in early position, and only Borja Miranda came along in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of K108, and Miranda check-called a bet of 1,700.

When the A hit the turn, Miranda check-called once again, this time the bet was 6,500.

The 10 completed the board, and Miranda checked for a final time before Petakovic tapped the table. Miranda rolled over Q8 for a pair of eights, and Petakovic mucked his hand.

On a heads-up flop of 874, Pavlos Xanthopoulos jammed into Maroun Jazzar and the latter called all-in for less than the starting stack with the 55 for a pair and gutshot.

Xanthopoulos had the K10 for two overcards and flush draw, which eventually got there on the J turn as well as K river. The empty seat was soon after filled by Fintan Hand.
