On the tail end of a A10764 board, Tamerlan Kaisinov bet 6,500. Halim Guerrout called after a few seconds and was shown the K5 for a busted flush draw by Kaisinov. Guerrout had that beat with the A8 for the top pair to boost the own stack.

Secondary Tournament Area in Play

The third starting flight has already become the largest by a long mile as the Day 1c field surpassed 700 entries. Some 40 players have been eliminated, some of which opted to re-enter and the overflow has now spilled into the secondary tournament area.

Theo Drach open raised, Guillaume Cochin three-bet to 2,500, then Drach four-bet to 5,600. Cochin called and action went to the flop.

The flop came 72K. Drach continued for 2,600 and Cochin called. The turn was the 4. Drach sized up to 6,200 and Cochin called again.

The river came the 6 and Drach moved all in for his last 13,000. Cochin called with a similar amount. Drach had AK for a pair of kings. Cochin, however, flipped over AA for pocket aces, an overpair to the board.

Cochin doubled up his stack and Drach with left with just 1,000 chips. He has since been eliminated.

Antoine Lecamus raised to 800 from middle position, Stephane Abehassera called in the small blind, and Antoine Pencreach called in the big blind.

The flop came JA2 and all three players checked. The turn was the 3. Pencreach checked, Abehassera bet 2,200, and only Pencreach made the call.

The river was the 5 and both players checked to showdown. Pencreach flipped 1010 for a pair to claim the pot as Abehassera mucked.

Forman Successfully Jams Up his Stack

With 6,500 in the middle to the 973 flop, Jose De Andrade checked and Miroslav Forman bet 5,200 on the button. De Andrade then check-raised to 12,200 with about as much behind.

Only a few seconds later, Forman announced all-in and De Andrade was seemingly shell-shock. Half a minute passed and the local player opted to fold.

Jan Kesänen check-called a bet worth 13,000 on the A952 turn by Michael Kalfon and checked the 2 on the river. Kalfon pushed all-in and Kesänen beat him into the pot for the Frenchman to sheepishly flip over the KQ for air.

Kesänen won the pot with the 99 for nines full of deuces and has become one of the early chip leaders.
