Shabalin Shows Jacks to Bust Asgoudakis

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Vladimir Shabalin and Emmanouil Asgoudakis went heads-up to a flop of 944 with around 400,000 in the middle when both players got the rest of their chips in the middle.

Emmanouil Asgoudakis: 66
Vladimir Shabalin: JJ

Shabalin was ahead with his jacks and stayed in front on the 2 turn and 10 river. The stacks were counted down and Asgoudakis had 600,000 remaining. Shabalin barely had him covered and took the pot while Asgoudakis headed for the rail.

Talbot Can't Get a Bluff Through Glogar

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Parker Talbot and Alex Glogar went heads-up to a flop of 9J7 with around 200,000 in the pot when Glogar bet 60,000 from under the gun.

Talbot then raised to 215,000 in the big blind, sending Glogar into the tank as he muttered to himself for a minute. Glogar eventually announced he was all in and Talbot tossed away the A. Glogar shot out of his seat and let out a sigh of relief as he took the pot.

"I really thought I was winning. I thought you folded," Talbot said. "Come on, give me some good hands so I don't have to bluff every hand," Talbot pleaded with the dealer.

Alessandro Pichierri then came over and gave Talbot his monkey to put on his shoulder. "This is huge. If I double up, I'm keeping it for sure," Talbot said.

Vayssieres Doubles Through Kebe

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Nicolas Vayssieres
Nicolas Vayssieres

There was 215,000 in front of former professional footballer Jimmy Kebe and Vlad Darie in the next seat, and Nicolas Vayssieries was all-in for 775,000, with Kebe contemplating his decision.

Kebe made the call and after taking some time, Darie folded. Vayssieries was at risk.

Nicolas Vayssieries: AQ
Jimmy Kebe: KK

Kebe's kings were in good shape and remained so after the 344 flop.

However, the A rolled off on the turn and the 5 river was not the king Kebe required, allowing Vayssieries to scoop a timely double-up.

At the same time on another table, Samy Barka was all in for 300,000 from the big blind and up against Naim Ouachekradi on the button.

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Farid Jattin opened to 100,000 first-to-act and action folded around to Jose Plaza in the big blind, who announced he was all in. Jattin quickly called all in for approximately 300,000 total and a showdown was held.

Farid Jattin: QQ
Jose Plaza: AJ

Jattin was in good shape to double up with his queens and remained that way on the 4K6 flop and 7 turn; however, the A appeared on the river to give Plaza a winning pair of aces and eliminate Jattin.

Frankland Hits the River to Leave Miquel Munoz on Crumbs

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Mathew Frankland and Marta Miquel Munoz saw a flop of A39 where Frankland got his last 330,000 in from the button and Miquel Munoz put him at risk in middle position, having Frankland barely covered.

Mathew Frankland: AQ
Marta Miquel Munoz: A2

Frankland was ahead with his queen-kicker until the 2 fell on the turn to give Miquel Munoz two pair. The river, though, was the Q and Frankland made a better two pair to win the pot.

"Chip and a chair," Miquel Munoz said as she sat back down to an extreme short stack.

Shabalin Gets Lucky to Survive

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Vladimir Shabalin

Vladimir Shabalin open-jammed from the cutoff for 315,000 and Naim Ouachekradi re-jammed with a covering stack from the button, getting folds from the rest of the table.

Vladimir Shabalin: A4
Naim Ouachekradi: AQ

Shabalin was in bad shape and remained so after the K92 flop, but the 4 came off on the turn, leading Ouachekradi to tap the table in frustration, and that frustration only increased after the 4 river sent Shabalin the pot with trip fours.

As he raked in the pot, Shabalin sheepishly said "Pardon" to his opponent in his best French accent, to which Ouachekradi laughed and said "Niet, no pardon".

Bianchetti Heroes Baranov to Take The Chip Lead

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Nearly 500,000 was already in the middle as three players saw the turn on a board of 10423. Sergii Baranov then bet 270,000 from the cutoff, Denzel Spekman called on the button, while Yves Bianchetti called in the big blind.

The river was the 8 and Baranov bet another 250,000. Bianchetti tanked for a minute before calling and Baranov tossed AJ into the middle of the table. Bianchetti showed 54 for a pair of fours to win the pot.

"Good call," Baranov told him.
