Blind Shove from Marie Causes Carnage with Biba the Beneficiary

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Monir Marie blind shoved from under the gun for 12,500, and received calls from Borgki Biba and Pierre Costa, before Abdelhakim Zoufri three-bet to 35,000.

Biba moved all in for around 55,000, Costa followed suit for around 42,000, and Zoufri called off the difference with the covering stack.

Monir Marie: 85 All in
Pierre Costa: AJ All in
Borgki Biba: 1010 All in
Abdelhakim Zoufri: 55

Biba had the best of it preflop, but Costa went ahead after the QJ3 flop gave him second pair jacks. However the 10 rolled off on the turn to give Biba a set, and the 4 river was a brick to send him a monster pot.

Heidel's Stack on a Rollercoaster, Hareuveni Doubles

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Oliver Heidel
Oliver Heidel

Oliver Heidel had more than doubled up since PokerNews last checked on Table #41, but he quickly lost most of his new-found riches in a hand with his table neighbor David Hareuveni.

Hareuveni was on the button and ended up calling off his stack of 65,500 after Heidel had shoved from the small blind for around 80,000.

David Hareuveni: KQ All in
Oliver Heidel: 77

Heidel maintained his advantage through the 9410 flop, but Hareuveni paired his king on the K turn to propel himself into the lead. Only a seven on the river would earn Heidel the pot, but instead the 8 filled out the board, which improved Hareuveni to a bigger flush.

Eskes Busts Grimm

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Tobias Grimm opened to 10,000 leaving 5,000 behind from early position. Tjenno Eskes raised to 20,000 from the hijack. Action folded around to Grimm who made the call.

Tobias Grimm: A6All in
Tjenno Eskes: AJ

The 328 flop was safe for Eskes, but the 5 gave Grimm additional equity in the form of a straight draw and a flush draw. However the K river was clean for Eskes who took in the pot.

Ace-High Good for Virlanuta

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Marian Virlanuta was seen raking in a pot with Germany's Oliver Heidel cutting out the chips from his stack to send them across the table.

The full board read 66J2J and Heidel's cards were already mucked at showdown. Virlanuta had A9 flipped over for just ace-high, which was good for the pot and a full double-up of his stack.

Set Over Set Over Set

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After Michael Adam bet from middle position, Martyn Frey on the button raised to 6,000. Aarne Haaranen in the small blind moved all in for 8,000, and he was called by the big blind.

Adam shoved for 18,500, Frey called and the big blind folded.

Aarne Haaranen: 99 All in
Michael Adam: AA All in
Martyn Frey: QQ

Both Frey and Haaranen flopped a set on Q79, with Frey on his way to score a double elimination. But after the 4 turn, Adam hit the A river to save himself and triple up while Haaranen was eliminated.

The table broke after this hand.

Lauritsen Eliminated from Eureka Main Event

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Lasse Jagd Lauritsen
Lasse Jagd Lauritsen

Lasse Lauritsen was all-in preflop with two other players still in the hand.

Carsten Meyer-Nordhorn and Sorin Ionut Morariu checked the KJ10 flop and Q turn and the river was the 4. With 44,000 in the middle already, Meyer-Nordhorn bet 12,000 and Morariu quickly folded.

Lauritsen tabled Q10 for two pair, but the AK for Meyer-Nordhorn took down the pot and eliminated Lauritsen.
