Ponomarev Takes It on the Turn

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The pot had grown to around 45,000 with two players looking at a board of Q6JK.

Nikolay Ponomarev, in early position, bet out 35,000. Kreshnik Maloku, in the cutoff, went deep into the tank, eventually choosing to fold. Ponomarev claimed this pot with little resistance as his stack eclipsed the 300,000 chip mark.
