Zereg Spikes the Turn to Leave Battista Short

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Cameron Couch raised to 1,100 under the gun and Youssef Zereg called in the small blind. Pablo Battista then three-bet to 4,000 in the big blind, and both opponents called.

The flop came 634 and Battista bet 5,100. Only Zereg called to see the 9 turn, where Battista bet another 5,000. Zereg then moved all in for 17,600, and Battista quickly called.

Zereg showed 99 for a turned set, while Battista had QQ and handed over most of his stack once the 7 completed the board on the river.

Goasdoue Runs Into a Flush

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Mykhailo Demydenko raised to 1,100 from early position and Alan Goasdoue in the hijack, Ivo Bartoletti in the small blind and Jorge Ruiz in the big blind made the call.

Everybody checked the 6J5 flop leading to the 10 turn where Bartoletti bet 1,100. Ruiz and Demydenko called but Goasdoue decided to move all-in for 20,200. The blinds folded to Demydenko who called.

Alan Goasdoue: J10 All in
Mykhailo Demydenko: 96

Goasdoue went all-in with two pair but ran into a flush and was eliminated after the 2 river.

Woods Made to Pay For Slow-Playing Aces Against Thiriart

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Arthur Thiriart
Arthur Thiriart

John Woods limped in from the small blind and Arthur Thiriart checked his option from the big blind.

On the J8K flop, Woods bet 1,000 and Thiriart made it 2,800 to go. Woods snapped back with a three-bet to 7,000, then Thiriart shoved. Woods called off his stack of around 18,000.

John Woods: AA All in
Arthur Thiriart: K8

Woods had elected to slow-play his aces, but that allowed Thiriart a free look at the flop. There was still a chance for Woods to survive as he picked up more outs on the 4 turn, but the 7 river was a brick, and he hit the rail.

Alilovic Makes Everybody Fold

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Leo Margets opened to 800 from under the gun and was called by Miroslav Alilovic in middle position, Alberto Cigliano on the button and Ibrahim Senoussi in the big blind.

All four of them checked a flop of 28A, and they did the exact same thing on the K turn despite a short hesitation by Cigliano.

On the 7 river, Senoussi and Margets checked again to Alilovic who led out for 3,200. Cigliano went into the tank for a long moment; too long for Senoussi, who called the clock. This action made Cigliano fold.

Senoussi folded too and it took a few seconds for Margets to muck her cards as well.

Taghla Tanks for Three Minutes

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With around a 4,000 in the pot on J2610 board, Matteo Orchide checked from early position and Mohamed-Said Taghla bet 2,300 from the hijack. Giuseppe Ditaranto called in the cutoff, and Orchide also called.

The river brought a 9 and it checked around to Ditaranto, who bet 5,900. Orchide quickly folded, but Taghla wasn't as fast to decide. One, two, three minutes passed and Taghla finally rechecked his cards for the last time and released them, tapping the table in Ditaranto's direction when he did so.
