Nikita Kuznetsov checked from the hijack on a 8♦Q♣3♥J♣ turn. Evgenii Aleksandrov was in the hijack and added 20,000 to the pot of 40,000 with a bet. Kuznetsov weighed his options for a while before he called.
The 10♠ appeared as the river. Kuznetsov checked once more, seeing Aleksandrov quickly check behind. Kuznetsov showed Q♠9♠ for a straight, leaving the A♥A♦ of Aleksandrov in the dust.

The remaining players have been sent on their final 20-minute break of the night.
When they return, two more 60-minute levels will be played before Day 1a wraps up.
Gerard Rubiralta raised to 2,000 in early position. It folded to Oleksii Trofymenko in the big blind, and he defended.
Trofymenko check-called Rubiralta's continuation-bet of 4,000 on the K♠8♥9♥ flop, after which both players checked the 9♠ turn. Trofymenko also checked the 7♣ river, but Rubiralta reaggressed with a massive bet of 20,500.
Trofymenko did not take long before he sent his cards into the muck, forfeiting the pot to the table chipleader.
In a blind-on-blind battle, Nikita Kuznetsov and Lucas Blanco had reached the 2♦4♠9♠A♠5♦ river. Kuznetsov checked it over to Blanco, who moved all in for 26,000, around a pot-sized bet.
Kuznetsov went deep into the tank. Eventually, the clock was called on him. His 30-second countdown was nearing its end when Kuznetsov tossed in a calling chip.
Blanco could only show a bluff with K♠7♣, and Kuznetsov triumphantly tabled 7♥4♦ for the winning pair of fours.
