Adams Doubles with Ace-Deuce

Level 10 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Jon Ander Vallinas Santos opened to 8,000 from the button before he called a jam to 84,261 by Timothy Adams from the big blind.

Jon Ander Vallinas Santos: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Timothy Adams: {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Adams, who already re-entered once, looked as if he might hit the rail for the second time in this event. But his ace paired the {9-Hearts}{a-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board to give him a save and he doubled his stack instead of hitting the rail again.

Alavali Leads to Start Level 10

Level 10 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Jargo Alavali was in the lead to start Level 10. The level began with 87 entrants with 64 players remaining.

Here is a look at the top ten stacks to start the new blind level.

Level: 10

Blinds: 1,600/3,200

Ante: 400

Greenwood Doubles with Rockets

Level 9 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante

Sam Greenwood opened the button for 6,160 before he called off his stack of around 80,000 facing a three-bet jam by Bert Stevens in the big blind.

Sam Greenwood: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Bert Stevens: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The {j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades} board did nothing for Stevens to improve his hand and Greenwood doubled up with his rockets.

Massive Pot for Alavali to Take the Lead

Level 9 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante

Jargo Alavali opened to 5,280 from the cutoff before he called a three-bet to 20,340 by Ramiro Petrone from the big blind.

Petrone bet 21,990 on the {k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop and got a call. Petrone then check-jammed the {10-Clubs} turn from 29,027 to 112,263 and Alivari called.

Ramiro Petrone: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Jargo Alavali: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Alavali's two pair held as the {9-Diamonds} river completed the board and held the chip lead after the hand.

Andersson Cracks Kempe's Aces to Take the Chip Lead

Level 9 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante

A big hand happened just before the blinds increased.

Rainer Kempe opened to 5,040 from early position before Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez three-bet to 14,455 from middle position. Joakim Andersson jammed for 223,596 from the big blind and got a call by Kempe for 83,912. Benitez folded and Andersson and Kempe showed the hands.

Joakim Andersson: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Rainer Kempe: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Kempe was looking good for a double but the {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} board gave Andersson a straight to not only at least temporarily eliminate Kempe but also to take the chip lead.

Level: 9

Blinds: 1,400/2,800

Ante: 350

Rockets for Mateos

Level 8 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Timothy Adams opened to 5,280 from under the gun. Adrian Mateos three-bet to 21,600 from the big blind before he called a four-bet jam to 107,364 by Adams.

Timothy Adams: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Adrian Mateos: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The {4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board didn't help Adams he was eliminated at least temporarily with late registration still open for another 130 minutes.

Holz Doubles Benitez

Level 8 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez opened for 4,800 from middle position and was called by Fedor Holz from the button.

Benitez fired out for 4,950 on the {9-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop and got a call. The {9-Hearts} turn paired the board and both players checked.

Benitez then bet 8,217 on the {10-Clubs} river. Holz raised enough for Benitez to make a decision about the rest of his stack. No thought was required as Benitez called and turned over {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a full house to double-up against Holz's {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Quads for Badziakouski to Oust Watson

Level 8 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Rainer Kempe opened to 4,200 from early position. Mikita Badziakouski called before Michael Watson jammed for 30,774 from the button. Kempe folded and Badziakouski called.

Although he was already ahead, the {9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} board gave Badziakouski quads to at least temporarily oust Watson.
