Adams Finds a Pot with Aces

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Timothy Adams opened to 16,000 from middle position, Michael Addamo three-bet to 40,000 and Adams called to see the {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop.

Addamo bet 20,000 and Adams called. A {2-Hearts} fell on the turn, both players checked and the {2-Diamonds} completed the board. Adams bet 96,000 and Addamo called, tabling {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for ace-high.

His ace-high was not enough when Adams showed {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for aces over ducks to scoop the pot for an almost complete double.

Buldygin Fails to Hold On vs. Journo

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Sam Greenwood opened to 17,600 and Yonathan "ninoboys80" Journo shoved for 103,459. Viacheslav Buldygin jammed over the top, Greenwood folded and the two tabled their hands.

Yonathan "ninoboys80" Journo: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Viacheslav Buldygin: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The flop rolled out {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Buldygin was well in front with his jacks. An unlikely {7-Diamonds} landed on the turn, giving Journo a boat. A {5-Diamonds} changed not a thing and Journo secured the pot, doubling through the Russian.

Barer Catapults Near the Top

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 750 ante

Action landed on Andras Nemeth in the cutoff, he shoved 80,325 and Amichai Barer called in the big blind spot, putting Nemeth at risk.

Andras Nemeth: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Amichai Barer: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, giving Nemeth two pair and the lead. A {q-Clubs} turn card shifted the lead back to Barer and the {9-Clubs} river sealed the deal for the Canadian.

Greenwood Breaks Fox

Level 16 : 2,750/5,500, 700 ante

Elio Fox raised to 10,000 from under the gun, Sam Greenwood called in the small blind and Fany "fab5" Auge defended his big blind. A {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop landed on the flop, action checked to Fox, he bet 11,484 and Greenwood check-raised to 39,611.

Fox called and the {j-Spades} peeled off. Greenwood pushed in 114,022 and Fox called for less, putting 70,889 into the middle. Fox turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for aces over jacks and was drawing slim when Greenwood showed {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, giving the Canadian three jacks.

A {3-Clubs} river changed nothing and Greenwood took down the pot, dropping Fox from the tournament.
