Day 3 GUKPT Kicks-Off Today; A Winner Must Be Crowned

PokerNews welcomes you to coverage of the final day, of the £1,000 GUKPT Reading Main Event. Just 14 players return to play out Day 3, playing down to a winner by the end of play today.

108 players returned on Day 2 that saw 34 players make the money, after Duc Cao was eliminated on the bubble.

First place is to be paid £78,260 as well as the title of GUKPT Reading champion. Play will resume at 12:00 p.m. local time with blinds at 600/1200 with a 1200 big bling ante. There will be breaks every two levels and a 40-minute break after the fourth level of the day.

Some players still in with a chance at winning the event are previous champion Jack Hardcastle who comes into the final day in third position (680,000), Christopher Brammer (397,000) and Grosvenor sponsored player Richard Trigg (486,000).

There will also be a live-streamed feature table presented by the GUKPT, available to watch on YouTube and Twitch free to watch on a 30-minute delay.
