Day 1a chip leader James Wright just followed Day 1b leader Jeff Greear out the door.
In the big blind, Wright shoved over the top of a Kenny Zuspan open and a Charles Maxcy call. Zuspan folded, but Maxcy called after agonizing with his head down for 30 seconds.
"Good call," Wright said, showing

Maxcy had him dominated with

Jeff Greear shoved for 123,000 and got a call from Neil Coughlin in the cutoff.

Charles Maxcy hit the nut flush with on a board of . The dealer counted out the chips of David West, whose hand was already in the muck when we arrived, and determined he had a bit more than Maxcy's 285,500. West busted his last few thousand on the next hand.
At the other table, Bobby Dickerson sent his remaining chips to Freddy Hamad.
Charles Maxcy limped in, and Neil Coughlin made it 28,000 to go in a blind battle. Maxcy checked the flop, and Coughlin bet 25,000. Maxcy raised to 75,000, and Coughlin moved all in after a minute or so.
"You're a better player than me," Maxcy said after a getting a count of 142,500 more. "I can't do it."
He showed for top pair before mucking, and Coughlin flipped for an airball.
