Taylor-Brady Over 400K Now

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Esther Taylor-Brady and Peter Murphy each put 22,000 in preflop in a blind-versus-blind situation before the flop came down {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Taylor-Brady bet 23,000, and Murphy called to see the {9-Hearts} land on the turn. Both checked, and the {Q-Hearts} completed the board. Both checked again.

Taylor-Brady showed the {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for two pair, kings and sixes, and Murphy mucked his hand unable to produce better.

Rockowitz Pressures Vaillancourt

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

We caught that action on the turn when the board read {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{K-Clubs}{3-Spades} as Noah Vaillancourt bet 14,400 into Jesse Rockowitz, who called in position.

The river completed the board with the {4-Clubs} and Vaillancourt checked to Rockowitz who put him all in.

Vaillancourt folded quickly and left himself with 37,200 chips, while Rockowitz sits pretty on 194,000.

A Gift for Kalas

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Kane Kalas entered the tournament on Day 2 with a fresh stack worth 20,000, and he's already managed to run it up to 105,000 after two levels of play.

Kalas told us how he raised under the gun plus one holding {K-}{Q-} suited and the action folded over to the small blind.

"The small blind shoved for 16 big blinds, but he didn't see that I had raised," Kalas said, as the big blind folded and he called.

Kalas was up against {K-}{4-} off suit, and the board bricked out.

"He was pretty upset," Kalas said, "As he had lost a big pot with kings to aces earlier."
