Harvey Norris raised to 22,000 from the hijack and was called by Linda Nguyen on the button. Murat Tulek three-bet to 126,000 from the big blind and now Norris shoved for 214,000 in total. Nguyen thought things through in her head but decided to let her hand go and Tulek quickly called.

Harvey Norris: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Murat Tulek: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for Norris to win and double up with the higher pair.

Michael Jesse Bubbles the Malta Poker Festival Grand Event

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Michael Jesse
Michael Jesse

Craig Simpson raised to 21,000 from the button and Michael Jesse shoved for 39,000 in the small blind. Piero Compagnoni folded his big blind and Simpson called. But their cards couldn't go on their backs yet as they had to wait till all action was completed at all the other tables. After a while, it was finally time for them to reveal their cards as all the other players and media flocked to their table. Cat Winch-Johnson was the one calling the cards as they were being revealed.

Michael Jesse: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Craig Simpson: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} to keep Jesse ahead but Simpson now picked up an open-ended straight draw.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} which didn't change the situation.

The river completed the board with the {j-Hearts} which meant Simpson hit a pair of jacks to burst the bubble. The rest of the field all cheered as Jesse became the bubble boy, but he wouldn't be leaving with empty hands. Thanks to Olybet, Jesse will be receiving a seat to next year's Grand Event worth €550.

Stop Dealing

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

With the tournament clock showing 152 players remaining, the dealers have been told to stop dealing.

Krushkov Gets Lucky

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Yanko Krushkov shoved for 15,000 from under the gun and was called by Michel Vat on the button and Lukas Bittner in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{a-Spades}, Bittner check-folded to Vat's bet of 20,000.

Yanko Krushkov: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Michel Vat: {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Krushkov needed a king to double up as Vat had flopped the full house.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} for Vat to get counterfeited and them to split the pot.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} to not change the situation as Krushkov and Vat split the pot for the same full house.
