turn and again was called.
The
river prompted a third barrel from Simkus, this time to 5,000, and it was enough to get L'Allemend to fold.
Steven Wendt min-clicked from under the gun. Thomas Noske three-bet to 2,200 and was cold-called by Francesco Micucci in the big blind. Wendt four-bet 11,500 and was met by a verbal all-in by Noske.

Nica Cosmin checked from the small blind, Franck Pelourson bet 400 from the big blind and was called by Paul Strangeways in late position, and Bianca Heinen on the button.
Cosmin was not content with four players in the pot and bet 2,200. Pelourson called, Strangeways, and Heinen folded.

Women's Poker Association (WPA) advocate and profession poker player Christina Read has had a tough couple of days, running into aces several times in Day 1c.
Well she has picked up where she left off, this time getting into a preflop cooler with pocket kings versus Marios Eracleous' pocket aces.
Recapping the action, she explained that it was a five-bet pot in the blinds and that her kings were never close to winning as the board ran out.

came on the river which was checked by Benakis. Chierchia weighed up his options and opted for a check. Before Chierchia could declare his hand Benakis threw his cards face-down into the muck.
Chierchia was stunned and coyly asked, "Do I need to show?" The dealer indicated it was up to him and the Italian threw his cards into the muck and dived onto the chips to protect them.
Alain Pujol has made a habit of flopping some big hands in the €550 Grand Event and today has been no exception. The Frenchman opened to 600 from the cutoff and then faced a 1,600 three-bet from Daniel Rigby on the button.
The blinds got out of the way and Pujol called.
