Ozbek Squeezes Value From Nixon

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The board read {5-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} on the turn. From the big blind, Gokhan Ozbek bet 100,000 and Jamie Nixon called the hijack.

The river was the {a-Spades}. Ozbek led again for the same 100,000 amount. Nixon frowned a bit but tossed in the call.

Ozbek tabled the {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a flush, one away from the straight flush and Nixon mucked.

Gabi Livshitz was all in from the small blind for his short stack against Michael Lech in early position who did not have Lichshitz covered by very much.

Gabi Livshitz: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Michael Lech: {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The flop came {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-Clubs}. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and the river the {7-Hearts} to miss Livshitz and send him away while Lech added some to his still short stack.

Moussa Runs Into Aces

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Bassel Moussa moved all in for his last 250,000 from the button and was up against Yury Bochkarev in the cutoff.

Bassel Moussa: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Yury Bochkarev: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The {10-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop gave Moussa hope with a straight draw, but he received no further help from the {8-Spades} turn or {5-Hearts} river.

"Good luck, guys," he said to his tablemates before departing to collect his winnings.

Chilaud Out-Kicks Barnea

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Maxime Chilaud
Maxime Chilaud

Three players were in a hand on the turn with the boarding reading {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}. From the small blind, Shaul Barnea led for 125,000. Maxime Chilaud called in the big blind and the third player in early position folded.

The river came the {3-Clubs}. Both players checked. Barnea confidently turned over the {q-}{j-} but he was pipped by the {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} better kicker of Chilaud.

Merheb Stuns Malakhov on the River

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

"Yes," Andress Merheb was heard yelling as he was the beneficiary of a fortunate river card.

Merheb and Oleksandr Malakhov got all their chips in the middle, Merheb holding {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and Malakhov {10-}{10-}. The {9-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop gave Malakhov a set and the lead in the hand.

The {7-Clubs} turn was harmless, but the river came the {a-Hearts} as Merheb improved to a higher set. Malakhov stood by his seat in stunned silence as the stacks were counted down, with Merheb's 750,000 barely having him covered. The two players shook hands before Malakhov made his exit.

Aydemir Shows the Bluff

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Recep Aydemir and Arie Kliper saw a flop of {4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} when Aydemir bet 115,000 from the big blind.

Kliper called as the {7-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Aydemir continued for 125,000 and Kliper again called as he turned away from the table to avoid looking at the river.

The {5-Spades} fell and Aydemir tossed out another 275,000. "I only win if you have seven-six or seven-five. Nothing else," Kliper said before he folded. Aydemir turned over {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} as he took in the pot.

"Very nice," Kliper said.
