El-Yaacoubi Spikes the River For a Double Knockout

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau was all in for 170,000 from under the gun, Boris Angelov got his last 250,000 in from middle position, and Rachid El-Yaacoubi had then both covered and at risk from the big blind.

The flop came A4Q to give El-Yaacoubi top pair, but Vaskaboinikau had hit a set. The turn was the 10, while the J river gave Angelov a set but El-Yaacoubi the nut straight as he loudly clapped his hands together while sending both Vaskaboinikau and Angelov to the rail.

Gregoire Auzoux and Robert Burlacu were also recently eliminated.

Belea Doubles Off Chaoui, Kenjic Gets Away

Jovan Kenjic raised to 18,000 under the gun before Mehdi Chaoui moved all in for 160,000 in the hijack. Razvan Belea called all in for his last 130,000 in the big blind. "Ay, ay, ay," Kenjic said as he tanked for several minutes. The clock was eventually called and he folded.

Belea hit top pair on the 6JQ flop and Chaoui couldn't catch up on the 5 turn or K river as Belea doubled up. Kenjic then admitted he folded ace-jack.

Smolka Shoves on Tulepbergenov, Chilaud Finishes Him Off

Dawid Smolka raised to 16,000 in middle position before Azamat Tulepbergenov three-bet to 44,000 in the small blind. Smolka called and they went heads-up to the 247 flop.

Tulepbergenov continued for 52,000 and Smolka moved all in. Tulepbergenov quickly folded.

The next hand, Tulepbergenov moved all in for around 150,000 from the button and Maxime Chilaud snap-called in the big blind.
