Eftekhari Gets Paid by Gavish in Massive Pot

Albert Diwan raised to 1,300 in middle position and Seyedamir Eftekhari called in the hijack before Daniel Gavish three-bet to 6,500 in the cutoff. Both opponents called and they saw a flop of 1093.

Gavish continued for 5,000 and both Diwan and Eftekhari stuck around to see the K turn. Gavish then bet 16,000.

Diwan folded, but Eftekhari raised to 47,000. Gavish called and the A fell on the river. Eftekhari then bet another 47,000.

Gavish spent several minutes in the tank before Rachid El Yaacoubi called the clock. "One hour," El Yaacoubi joked.

"I agree, it's been a long time," Gavish added. He waited until the countdown had nearly reached zero before putting in the chips to call as Eftekhari showed QJ for the nut straight to win the massive pot.

Zsuffa Calls Down Nacer With Aces

Nacer showed KJ for top pair, but Zsuffa had AA to win the pot.

Rizov put in a raise to 43,000 and Lamkov flashed the A as he quickly folded.

Heads-up on a board of Q57J, Bakhos Joumaa bet 7,000 from early position before Fredrico Senno raised to 25,000 in the big blind. Joumaa called and the K fell on the river.

Senno then moved all in for 48,500 and Joumaa took about a minute before calling. Senno showed 98 for a missed straight draw and Joumaa turned over 55 for a set to send Senno to the rail.

Both players checked the A85 flop before Lykov led out for 4,300 on the K turn. Pucci called and the 5 fell on the river.

Lykov took a minute before betting another 16,200 and Pucci snap-called. Lykov instantly mucked his hand and Pucci took the pot without a showdown.

Arkhipenkov Fills Up to Double

Around 30,000 was in the pot as Anton Arkhipenkov and an opponent went to the river on a board of 46QJJ. The big blind then bet 25,500 before Arkhipenkov moved all in for 85,000 in middle position.

"Why don't you raise a set on the turn," the big blind said as he tanked for several minutes. He eventually called and Arkhipenkov turned over QJ for a full house. His opponent mucked and Arkhipenkov doubled up.
