Erceg Rivers a Jack

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Vladimir Erceg raised from under the gun to 160,000 and Haydar Issa called on the button. Gabriel Akiki also called in the small blind.

The flop came 68K, and all three checked to the board-pairing K turn, where Akiki checked and Erceg bet 150,000. Both Issa and Akiki called.

A J hit the river and all three checked to showdown, where Akiki showed pocket sevens. They were no good, though, as Erceg flipped AJ for a rivered pair of jacks to scoop the pot.

Isaia Hits the Rail at the Hands of Chernikov

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Alessio Isaia
Alessio Isaia

Just before the break, a big hand happened on Table #2, which saw Alessio Isaia hit the rail.

Ma raised from the cutoff, and Aleksandr Chernikov called from the small blind. Isaia decided to squeeze all in from the big blind for 700,000. Ma folded, but Chernikov stuck in the call to put Isaia at risk.

Aleksandr Chernikov: AQ All in
Alessio Isaia: J8

Isaia was making a move, but Chernikov had flat called with a strong hand in the small blind. The 44Q flop gave Chernikov top pair, and meant Isaia needed running cards to survive. The 2 turn left Isaia drawing dead, as all of his chips were sent over to Chernikov once the 6 completed the board.

At another table Viacheslav Goryachev hit the rail and was also eliminated.

They saw a flop of 4J7, where Sibgatova check-called a bet of 100,000 from Aristotelos to the 9 turn. Both checked, as they did on the 2 river, and Aristotelos' 1010 was good for the pot for a pair of tens.

The trio saw a flop of 410K, where Shornikau checked and Nakhoul fired a small bet of 130,000. Again, both Reichenstein and Shornikau called to see the 10 pair the board on the turn. Shornikau checked again, then Nakhoul bet 475,000.
