Jean-Robert Bellande raised to 325,000 in the hijack and Emilien Pitavy took a minute before folding 9♦9♣ on the button. Thomas Eychenne, though, defended his big blind, and he and Bellande went heads-up to the A♦K♣J♠ flop.
Both players checked to the 6♦ turn, where Bellande bet 300,000. Eychenne called, and they checked down the 10♣ river.
Eychenne showed J♣8♣, but Bellande had A♣2♣ and took the pot with a pair of aces.
