Matt Affleck On Top

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

It appears as though Matt Affleck is not only the tournament chip leader, but also the only player sitting with a six-figure chip stack.

Recently in a hand that saw roughly 11,000 sitting in the middle, Matt Affleck checked over to his opponent on the {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board. His opponent on the button bet out 4,800 before Affleck check-raised to 16,000. The button moved all in for roughly 40,000 and Affleck snap-called.

Affleck: {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The river landed the meaningless {2-Hearts}, and Affleck eliminated his opponent and climbed to over 100,000 in chips.

Alan Snow

On a flop of {8-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} with roughly 8,000 in the middle, Barry Shulman checked over to Alan Snow who bet out 5,000 from the hijack.

Shulman responded with a check-raise to 12,000, and Snow instantly moved all in for what appeared to be around 16,000.

Shulman folded, and Snow showed his {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for a flopped set. Shulman is now down to 15,475 in chips.

Chris Wallace Finds a Double

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Following a button raise to 1,100, and then an all in from the small blind for 1,775, Chris Wallace moved all in for 12,750 from the big blind. The button player called, and the cards were tabled.

Wallace: {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Small Blind: {9-Spades}{2-Spades}
Button: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{K-Spades}{8-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Wallace more then doubled to 27,875 in chips.

Terry Fleischer Boski'd Out the Door

Level 8 : 250/500, 75 ante
Terry Fleischer
Terry Fleischer

Terry Fleischer opened the action in the hijack with a raise to 2,000 before Jeff Sluzinski three-bet his button to 6,500.

The action folded back to Fleischer, and he called, and then checked the {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} flop over to Sluzinski.

After asking to see how many pink 5,000-denomination chips Fleischer had remaining, Sluzinski opted for a bet of 4,000. Fleischer called, and when the turn landed the {5-Diamonds}, he pushed all in for roughly 8,900. Sluzinski called quicker then one of his boxer dogs would launch at a home cooked steak left sitting idle on the dinning table.

Fleischer: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Sluzinski: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

With Fleischer drawing dead, the river landed the {9-Spades}, and he was bundled out the door by Sluzinski who collected the pot and motored up to roughly 52,000 in chips.
