Zaric Deals The Final Blow

Level 35 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Dragan Zaric
Dragan Zaric

After the previous hand now Levente Muszi and Dragan Zaric were both involved in the hand again with Muszi going all-in and Zaric having called.

Dragan Zaric: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}
Levente Muszi: {A-}{8-}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} - no help for Muszi and he has been eliminated in 17th place.

Zaric Wins the Three-Way All-in

Level 35 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

The floor was called to Table #37 for the clock. On the table, we could see that Levente Muszi and Gabor Bodnar had gone all-in and the decision was on Dragan Zaric to call or not. Even before the floor could get to the table, Zaric had called.

Dragan Zaric: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Levente Muszi: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Gabor Bodnar: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {K-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} - Zaric hit the ten on the flop for a set of tens and he eliminated Bodnar and left Muszi with almost 3,500,000 behind.

Music To Muszi's Ears

Level 35 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Levente Muszi scoops a huge one with quads
Levente Muszi scoops a huge one with quads

It was a rough orbit for Golden Chip holder Pavel Chalupka. He doubled up Ela Kubincova blind on blind, his {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} failing to hold, or even earn a chop versus {a-Spades}{3-Spades} as Kubincova made a flush on the {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades} runout.

The hand after that, he shoved his remaining 1,100,000 from the small blind, with Rene Wolech agreeing to call without looking. Wolech's {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} hit a pair in the window, but ultimately fell short on the {8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} runout, as Chalupka doubled back up.

The very next hand, action was folded to Chalupka's button, where he moved all-in, followed quickly by Wolech in the small blind. Leventa Muszi couldn't believe his eyes as he looked down at {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} closing the action in the big blind, confidently announcing "call." Chalupka's {a-Spades}{6-Hearts} was in last place, as Wolech tabled {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, but both players were drawing dead on a {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop. The dealer made absolutely sure of the outcome, putting another {j-Spades} on the turn, giving Muszi quads, and the 12,000,000-chip pot.

Chalupka and Wolech both take home €1,750, as the field drops to just 18 players.

Five Golden Chips Left

Level 35 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

There are six Golden Chips left in play, belonging to Pavel Chalupka, Gabor Bodnar, Aristeidis Moschonas, Gabor Deak, and Niko Wieland.

Every Golden Chip that reaches the final table today will secure the player who holds it a $10,000 Caribbean Poker Party package, on top of their cash payout.

With 21 players left, and 8 players making the final table, it's roughly a flip whether a Golden Chip holder converts themselves a package. We'll be following them closely!

Bernhard Busts In Back To Back Beats

Level 34 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Mirek Spicka wins back to back pots to bust Bernhard Wladkowski
Mirek Spicka wins back to back pots to bust Bernhard Wladkowski

Mirek Spicka and Bernhard Wladkowski got it all in pre-flop, with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} respectively, and It looked like it was all going Wladkowski's way on the {2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop, with the {j-Diamonds} turn changing nothing. Unfortunately for him, though, the {10-Clubs} hit the river and the pot was shipped Spicka's way, leaving Wladkowski with just over a million to play with.

The very next hand, the same two players got it all-in blind versus blind, without looking at their hole cards. Spicka tabled {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, while Wladkowski showed the somehow inferior {9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. In possibly the least classic showdown of the tournament so far, 10-high held on a {2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} runout, sending Wladkowski to the rail right before the break.
