Level 25 : 175,000/350,000, 350,000 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Armin Rezaei opened to 700,000 from under the gun and John Cayley called on the button. Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet jammed all in for 13,700,000 in the small blind and Rezaei re-shoved all in which forced Cayley out.

Rezaei: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Kisacikoglu: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Both players held pocket pairs but Rezaei's was the one in the lead. The board of {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{j-Hearts} changed nothing and Kisacikoglu headed for the payout desk.

Babak Forozandeh

Upeshka De Silva raised to 625,000 in the hijack before Babak Forozandeh shoved all in from the cutoff for 3,100,000.

From the small blind, Danick Landriault four-bet to 6,500,000, and De Silva folded.

Landriault: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Forozandeh: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

The dealer spread the {7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board and Forozandeh's aces were cracked, and he was eliminated in 27th place for a CA$30,000 payday.

Perceval Has the Goods

Level 24 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Ruben Perceval opened to 650,000 in early position and was called by Armin Rezaei on his left and Qi Hu in the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Hu checked to Perceval who continued for 1,300,000. Rezaei folded and Hu check-raised all in for 8,600,000. Perceval looked back at his cards and then called.

Perceval: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Hu: {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The turn brought the {4-Hearts} and Hu was drawing to just two kings in the deck. The river brought the {10-Spades} and Perceval's aces held up to eliminate Hu.

Flush for James

Level 24 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Jason James opened to 650,000 from under the gun and Orpen Kisacikoglu called in the cutoff, as did Castrillon Fontan from the big blind.

The flop landed {5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} and Fontan checked to James who continued for 1,200,000. Kisacikoglu called, and Fontan folded as the turn fell the {9-Diamonds}.

James bet 2,400,000, and Kisacikoglu called before both players checked the {6-Diamonds} on the river.

James tabled his {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a flush, and Kisacikoglu mucked.

Pinto Takes Down Chartrand

Level 24 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

The action folded to Philipe Pizzari Pinto who raised it up on the button. Maxime Chartrand three-bet shoved all in from the small blind and Pinto quickly called it off.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Pinto's {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} was good enough to eliminate Chartrand's weaker ace-high.

The River Keeps Fontan in the Game

Level 24 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

After a couple of preflop raises, Castrillon Fontan in the hijack and Qi Hu in the small blind got all of their chips in the middle. Fontan was the player at risk for 10,700,000 but he needed some help.

Fontan: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Hu: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop of {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} was still ok for Hu even though Fontan picked up a straight draw. The {7-Hearts} on the turn gave Fontan some more outs and the {10-Diamonds} on the river was one of them. Fontan made a set of tens and earned a double up through Hu.
