Eliminations Before Dinner

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Schindler's River Bet Gets Through

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Three players remained in the hand after a flop of {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} with around 95,000 in the middle. The {10-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and Daniel Alaei started with a check from under the gun. Jake Schindler also checked in middle position and Tony Miles checked the button.

The river was the {j-Spades} and Alaei checked again. Schindler tossed in a bet of 75,000, leaving himself with just 30,000 behind. Miles thought for nearly three minutes before finally tossing his cards to the muck. Alaei also gave it some thought but he conceded the pot to Schindler.

Big Stacks Around the Room

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Lampard Eliminates Vener in a Massive Pot

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The pot started off relatively small with only around 30,000 in the middle heading to the flop. David Lampard and Scott Vener were heads-up and the dealer spread the flop of {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

In what seemed to be an innocent looking hand, quickly turned ugly and one player was going to take a beating. A flurry of action saw the two players get all of their chips in the middle and Vener was the player at risk for a little over 550,000.

David Lampard: {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Scott Vener: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Vener currently held the best hand with pocket aces but Lampard was willing to gamble with a pair and flush draw. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and the river brought the {3-Clubs}. Lampard made his flush and frustrated Vener was eliminated from the tournament.

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Mike Sexton was down to roughly his last 50,000 chips not too long ago. At the far end of the poker room, Sexton was just seen getting up from his seat and throwing his bag over his back. As Sexton exited the tournament area, Freddy Deeb was collecting the pot and stacking his chips.

Addamo Eliminates Lehr

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Michael Addamo started with a raise and Keith Lehr pushed his stack of around 100,000 into the middle from just a couple of seats over. The action was back on Addamo who quickly called.

Michael Addamo: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Keith Lehr: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

"I'm gonna need an ace," Lehr pointed out. The flop of {q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} did nothing of the sorts. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn gave Lehr a couple of extra outs but the {k-Hearts} on the river eliminated him from the tournament.
