Flowers Doubles With Top Set

In a raised pot, Daniel Strelitz and Randal Flowers saw the dealer spread {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} across the table. Flowers fired out 2,000 and Strelitz called to see a turn.

Fourth street was the {5-Clubs} and Flowers wasted no time dropping the rest of his chips in the middle- a bet which totaled 10,550. Strelitz called and Flowers triumphantly showed {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for top set of tens. Strelitz released a chuckle and showed {A-Spades}{10-Spades}.

The board was completed with the {2-Clubs}, filling up Flowers and scoring him a double up. He currently has about 28,000 in chips.

One For Molson

After the player under the gun opened to 400, Will Molson three-bet to 1,200 on his direct left. Action folded back to Molson's opponent who four-bet to 2,700. Molson called and a {3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop hit the table.

Both checked to see the {Q-Spades} turn where it was checked to Molson who bet 3,000. His opponent called and both players checked the {K-Spades} river. Molson tabled a winning {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} to collect the pot.

Flush For Elias

We arrived at Darren Elias' table just as he was getting paid off in a nice-sized pot.

The board read {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{Q-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Elias' river bet of 11,100 was called by his opponent. Elias tabled {9-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush, besting his opponent's hand to win the pot.

Schwartz Straightens Out Palacios

Noah Schwartz and Bolivar Palacios and one other opponent were in a hand that saw the board read{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Schwartz came out firing on fourth street with a bet of 2,025. The third player got out of the way and Palacios called from the button.

The river brought the {10-Diamonds} and Schwartz slowed down with a check. Palacios checked right behind and Schwartz showed {5-Clubs}{4-Spades} for a straight. Palacios mucked his cards and Schwartz took down a pot that brings his stack to about 33,000.

Joseph Cheong

Joseph Cheong opened to 400 under the gun and Jose Miguel Esteban Nieto re-raised to 1,400 from the hijack. Action folded back to Cheong who called, landing a {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop.

Cheong check-called 2,200 from Esteban to see the {J-Spades} turn, which both players checked. When the {Q-Spades} hit the river, Cheong bet 3,250. Esteban popped it to 15,000, forcing a quick fold from Cheong.

Kenney Takes Small One On Turn

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

A raise from the under-the-gun player kicked off the action on this hand before Jean-Robert Bellande, Bryn Kenney, Sam Grafton and the small blind all called. Bellande and Kenney were in middle position, and Grafton was behind them in the hijack seat.

On the {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} flop, all five players checked to see the {5-Spades} land on fourth street. After three checks put the action on Kenney, he fired out 400. Everyone opted to fold, and Kenney was pushed the pot.

Cada Trips up Duval

We passed by the table just in time to see Joe Cada fired out a river bet of 3,500. The board was {j-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Jason Duval called Cada's bet and saw the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion roll over {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} for trip kings.

Duval flung away his cards and Cada scooped up a nice sized pot. He's currently sitting on quite the healthy stack with about 49,000 in chips.

Bellande Turned

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

From middle position, Jean-Robert Bellande opened with a raise to 400. Only the player in the big blind made the call, and the dealer spread out the {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop. After the big blind checked, Bellande fired 525. His opponent made the call.

The turn brought the {2-Hearts}, and both players checked to see the {8-Diamonds} land on the river. Both players checked again.

The big blind opened up the {3-Clubs}{2-Spades} for a turned pair of deuces after flopping an open-ended straight draw. Bellande briefly paused, then mucked his hand.
