Second Break With 32 Remaining

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Lijun Zhang
Lijun Zhang

At the very end of the level, another two players were sent to the payout desk.

Jose Cheung was the first to bow out when Won Jae Lee sucked out on the river with 99 on a AA439 board to come out on top.

Lijun Zhang then bet the turn and jammed the river of a J10383 board against Nicola Montalbano.

Zhang flashed the Qx8 and Montalbano earned the second knockout in quick succession with the A8.

Most other tables had already gone on their scheduled 15-minute break.

Cho Next to Fall Against Montalbano

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Nicola Montalbano
Nicola Montalbano

Towards the end of the fourth level on Day 2, the all-in confrontations keep on coming and it was Minseong Cho who headed to the payout desk next. His 105 had a piece of the 522 flop but Cho was crushed by the KK of Nicola Montalbano. Nothing changed with the J turn and 7 river as 34 players still had chips at their disposal.

(Sri)Harsh(a) End for Thompson in Classic Flip

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Gary Thompson
Gary Thompson

A three-bet to 70,000 was in front of Sriharsha Doddapaneni and Gary Thompson then pushed all-in for 463,000 total. Doddapaneni asked for a count and then went into the tank for more than two minutes before he made the call.

Gary Thompson: AK
Sriharsha Doddapaneni: JJ

The classic flip was all but over on the J66 flop as Thompson required running kings or aces to survive. Doddapaneni hit the cherry on top with the J turn to improve to quads, as a meaningless 2 river completed the board.

Double Knockout for Quiambao Reduces Field Further

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Two short stacks were all-in against Cezar Quiambao as Chee Chong How and Maurillo Balauitan got their chips in for the following showdown to emerge.

Maurillo Balauitan: 77
Chee Chong How: A9
Cezar Quiambao: KK

The best hand preflop was also the best one after the J64104 board to knock out two players.

William Teoh
William Teoh

Edwin Dela Cruz had raised with the A2 and then called the all-in of William Teoh for the last 70,000. Teoh turned over the KK and had little to fear on the 842610 board to stay in contention.

Assorted Counts in the Field

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Del Rosario Folds to a Shove

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

With around 250,000 in the middle to the J947 turn, Anton Del Rosario bet 100,000 and Richard Tolentino moved all-in for 281,000 total. Del Rosario had that barely covered and tanked for a while, then folded after more than two minutes of consideration.

Down to the Last Five Tables

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Po Hsiun Liao
Po Hsiun Liao

In three-way action to the 1095J turn, both players out of the blinds checked. Po Hsiun Liao jammed for 124,000 and Emmanuel Segismundo check-called in the small blind. Won Jae Lee reluctantly folded and mentioned he had queen-nine for a pair and open-ender.

Liao shook his head and flashed the AK for ace-high with a gutshot, which Segismundo was ahead of with the J9. The A river was too little, too late, and Liao departed.

He was followed to the rail by Andrej Nagy and Junho Kim, the latter of which bowed out on the live stream table.

David Erquiaga was moved there after giving up the last pot on the outer table on a KQ47 turn when Anton Del Rosario jammed into him.

There are now 39 players left on five tables.

Nathan Jams Into Mondalo

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

In three-way action to the Q103 flop, no betting action took place and Stephen Nathan then bet the 5 turn for 20,000 with his A3 for the nut flush. Bonifacio Mondalo raised to 100,000 with the Q10 from under the gun to force out the third player.

Nathan near instantly jammed and Mondalo tank-folded.
